I have absolutely no problem with people liking steam. I have, however, a problem because most people start treating you as a piece of shit when you don't want to use this service. You can't write a comment like "I'd rather have a non DRM version of the game (aka not steamworks)" without having people insulting you.

That's like you'd do a :

What loss? I'd rather spend these 300$ for 3DS games at the moment. The 3DS also looks more promising for a RPG machine than the vita.

I'm sure valve has a lot of money and time to throw at the game. It may even be subsidized by steam. I could not meet the expectations but it will definitely be very solid and good.

If you want JRPG's you'll be better of with a portable nowadays.

Will this game come the the EU? I have the feeling it won't :(

It actually really looks like this up here. You just have thick smoke covering the sky so you can't see how the world of the master race really looks like.

This people, is a typical response you'll get from a steam fanboy.

I was really surprised how many people defend EA (they could be EA fanboys but how could you). EA has killed a dozen of good studios and franchises these last years. Riccitello had the idea to sell bullets for real money. They pushed hard their own DRM system. They constantly lie about development or things like all

Steam fanboyism and the gaben cult is really creepy. They glorify a DRM and if you say just one thing against (not even hating, just arguing against) they attack you ferociously.

I don't have enough trust in that system yet. The future doesn't look bright for the moment.

Thanks for the tips. Strategy is more the kind of thing I like playing on the PC and I only play gran turismo as racing game with the whole steering wheel setup. I think I'd get a vita for RPG's more than other types.

JRPG, RPG, RTS on PC, FPS on PC and gran turismo. Also, I have many of those games on another console already and don't want to repurchase it.

Most popular shooters are designed that way. Last thing they want is frustrated customers, they are designed to be linear roller-coasters with the least amount of resistance.

If it gets 5 more must-have titles (which is a subjective thing) I might get one but at the moment there's only one game that would interest me.

You can clearly see the new brown-motionblur-lensflare-filter applied to that scene.

It's designed to have the least resistance possible so it would appeal to everybody.

I prefer getting field experience

I don't think so.
