I call him Ron Mexico Food.

She’s fucking hot.

Beal was also completely being held by Kawhi on this play, almost all the way around the screen.

The “originals had more heart” argument.

I think this has been an incredible year for movies. I have almost no quibbles with the article and there isn’t even any mention of my favorite movie of the year, Kingsman (why would there be in an Oscar article).

If a robot in “The Phantom Menace” found himself in a pile of wires and exclaimed, “help, I’m melting”, it would be endlessly mocked. It’s so stupid. He’s a robot. He doesn’t see a pile of wires around himself and thinks he’s melting. It’s worse than Anakin uttering a stilted metaphor and people are still making fun

I’m not getting into it like you are, Mister, but I totally agree with you. And, I was a kid who LOVED the originals.

Boyle and Ritchie might not belong in the same tree, but if you want to be general about Trainspotting, it’s a film about the trials and tribulations of the criminal/lower classes and what happens when they bump up against polite society. It was made more ludicrous in a movie like Snatch, and all of these movies had

I don’t think it has aged well. Possibly because imitations of it, or at least thematically similar movies have been better (Snatch, maybe Requiem For a Dream).

This brings back a weird memory. . .

who was your starting RB that year?

PodKicker does all those things. You can set the “skip back” length.

I really didn’t listen to the internet hate at all. All I knew was that week after week, it felt like a chore to select it on the DVR and watch it.

An air cannon on the boat.

Siskel used to say you can’t tell people what’s sexy. And you can’t tell people what’s funny. But, damn if Leitch doesn’t keep trying every time Seth McFarlane does something.

Took too long to get over the intoxication of beating the Spurs? “Can you guys believe we beat the Spurs 10 days and 5 games ago? Time to take it easy and let that soak in.”

I love Tony Zhou videos more than movies themselves. I’ve watched every single one of them multiple times. His Michael Bay one is astounding. A weird mix of respect and disdain and just a real honest critique.

Part of the fun of the movies is seeing how they grow. Seeing how they try to trick you, seeing how a character gets introduced as a good guy and becomes a bad guy, or vice-versa. How certain characters disappear and reappear.

Except you'd still be better off playing against three or more in that situation and that's what the author doesn't seem to understand. Or at least failed to point out.

This was written during the week in Probability 101 where the author had learned about independent event but hadn't yet got to expected value.
