Interesting. I find the modern, Western RPG to be much better at most of those than the stuff I grew up with. I stopped playing RPGs seriously after FF...8? I came to loath random combat encounters and turn based systems. And the nonsensical stories with dumb characters. So I stopped playing them and only

What was more fun about RPGs back then?

All games need horse autopilot. Seriously. Just find a path, hold a button, and the horse does the rest. I could get used to this.

Yup! Wife's idea too.

Parker Bruce.

The backpack will get a fair bit of use, and is actually pretty great for doing errands, but i can't imagine running a few miles with one of those things on. Strollers, while big and a bit of a hassle, are still the best solution for some situations. But hey, to each their own. I do like that you are talking about

hah! Hey man, if you have a better suggestion I'm all for it. But I'm not carrying him around for hours when I need to do a bunch of errands. Or when I'm running. They get heavy.

Well shoot. My brand new child is (partly) named after Bruce Wayne. I think I need to build this.

Yes!! Borderlands one was so, so good. 2 was pretty fun but it just lacked the joie de vivre that the first one had. The voice acting and story was a lot more fun, but the level design and guns were definitely of the lesser variety.

It's not that hard to get a refund from a physical store (as long as it's not Best buy). Just work your way up the chain. Usually the DM or RM will cave. And if that doesn't work just email someone from the C-Suite at corporate. Every day. :)

Don't feel sorry for us, we like it! To be fair, i'm not a strict one game guy - I tend to have one game I play for a long, long time and then I'll complete 2-3 other games through the course of a year. But it's a deliberate decision. I only have so much time in my life and I have a lot of different things I

Now I want to know what you and your friends to that is so much more fun. Don't leave us hanging man! Is it karaoke? I bet it's karaoke. Man, I love me some karaoke! Who wants to go down to the corner bar this weekend and sing Ghostbuster with me? It's a call and response crowd favorite!

Hey cool, thanks for the reassurances. I'll check out after the dust settles and it's cheap/patched.

I came here to say this, but you summed it up nicely. The story bounties are my favorite as they are hands down the easiest, quickest bounties to do and they reward the most rep.

This makes me so sad. Assassins' Creed is one of my fave series from the last generation and I was really looking forward to it's big, beautiful new version. Then it turned out to be a craptastic mess, and now Dead Kings is the pits. I was really hoping that 6 months down the line or so it would be all patched up

This is my favorite comment on The Kotaku.

Oh man, this is so true. I have hundreds of nieces and nephews and the 20 year olds act just like the 12 year olds. I can only tell them apart by height.

Go watch The Babadook. Like, right now. Fulfill your wish!

I've finally given up on Destiny. And feel like a better man for having kicked the habit. But boy, if there's one thing that would get me back into the game, it would be novelty Daft Punk armour. Because really, we were all only playing it for the shiny new gear anyway.

Destiny is rad. Most fun I've had with a video game all year and I'm still playing it every day. Get it.
