Holy shit, I want this so much. I don’t even understand why.

Hmm, I always thought it felt quite natural. Any mysteries or ambiguous elements were always subsumed, in my mind, by the coherence of the experience as a mere series of wonderful moments: another player flickering in and out of view over a distant dune, the sand shimmering in unison with the whipping of your cloak…
When you say “pretentious” what exactly do you mean?
Ah, what I wouldn’t give for another game like Ace Comabt 5 or Zero. Someday, someday.
I got a little annoyed how they changed some of the Witcher gear level requirements—having played a quest where at the end I ended up in my undies and couldn’t equip anything after, and I had to bare-knuckle box a bear—, but other than that this was a tremendous patch.
It’s interesting. American hospitals, actually, have surprisingly high infant mortality rates. We’re certainly better than most countries, but far from the best. A lot of blame, as cited by my Phd friends who work in the field, can be put not only on economic disparity but insurance companies and poor hospital…
Oh good, I’ve been worried about Below (and Hyper-Light Drifter, now that I think about it) since I hadn’t seen anything for a while. I’m glad to hear that its moving along and still receiving some major interest.
I love the idea of exploration, of being genuinely surprised by something—sublime or not. But, when it comes to space sims, I have to ask: how does it play? Does it feel good? Not all flight models are created equal, and Star Citizen’s dogfighting module has built a certain expectation in me for all other space sims.…
III is worth playing if for nothing more than the 108 star ending. I’ve never been so moved by a villain before. It was incredible, when I think back on it.
I thought it was the slowest of the games by far. There were a lot of things I loved about it, but it just felt like it took so long to get going.
I had this same thought. I mean, in his “manifesto” he own his racism; he has made it who he is. He’s super conscious of it, and it’s disgusting, but for him that’s just fine. I’ve known people for most of my life, though, who have said very similar things as Roof does and yet still think of themselves as good people.…
Damn, looking at their site they actually have some really good deals. Valkyrie Profile for $50! I couldn’t even find that game in stores when it was new, and now it goes for at least $100 on eBay.
I sold my copy of Suikoden 2 for $130 a few months back. That’s actually not terrible deal, all things considered. And Tales of Destiny 2 for that much is the lowest I think I’ve ever seen it, except when it was new.
Now I’m wondering why Bethesda has never partnered with Mountain Dew to produce a Nuka-Dew with Fallout as a potential under-the-cap prize. Get on it, children!
It would be more extraordinary than watching someone literally turn water into wine. Until this point in time, these things felt like a physical impossibility. But I believe. I believe.
Sometimes I have these dreams . . . a man walks out onto the stage at E3; he’s holding something in his hand; I can’t quite make it out from where I am but then a spotlight kicks up and he it thrusts it into the air. It’s a crowbar, its majestic silhouette cast against an orange Lambda behind him, shining like an…
Some have pointed out New Vegas. I would also point out: Vice City. Guess it depends on how we’re defining “entry,” and also whatever examples you have in mind.
