What's your NAT type on your network connection? I know that lots of Rockstar games have a very low tolerance for type 3. I remember being pretty frustrated with RDR multiplayer before changing up my network setup.

I'm not exactly trusting of what Battlelog is telling me, though. I can join servers, but only servers that are empty. And then I can play with other people if they join the server I'm on. The game plays extremely well, all my drivers are up to date, my ports are open, etc. Everything seems to be fine on my end.

I'm playing on PC, and I see plenty of servers filled to capacity, just for some reason the game refuses the connection right before loading takes place. I can play fine with people as they join the server I'm on I just can't get into a match mid-game for whatever reason.

Naturally, it's a little rough around the edges. I'm actually a bit more concerned with server stability than anything in-game. I've yet to be able to join a server that has more than one person playing on it. I always get some "client closed down connection" error. But, you know, that's day one for you. . .

All I can think about now is "Set them to be Amish." Which my mind has now appropriated as an imperative in a potential Star Trek script; "Set phasers to Amish."

Sort of the curious thing here, the weapon's firing pin had been removed, thus making it impossible to fire. Question/absurd hypothetical: would anyone (parents or not) allow their child to handle—even play—with a firearm that can no longer act out its utility? If a gun is inert to its faculty is it still a gun or can

I now have the incredible urge to play Radiata Stories. I can't be alone on that, right?

I guess I'm just curious why the gunplay from Max Payne 3 didn't make it over to GTAV; it was and still is, I think, the best of its kind. I haven't had the pleasure of playing GTAV yet but from trailers it seemed like there was a lot of crossover. Are these patchable offenses, do you think?

Saw title.

"We can say what we want in our world of pure imagination."

I'm not sure what's going on there, though I like to think that it only adds to the potential shock and ensuing horror. (Probably a copyright issue).

That recycling truck at 5:32 cranking out clouds of noxious fumes: nice touch, Rockstar.

I remember seeing an article years ago that stated that it took over 24 hours to run from one end of Tamriel to the other in ES: Arena. And as you say of Daggerfall, most of that environment was randomly generated, but still: damn.

I hit the level cap within a week of launch. I've never done that in an MMO before, and by that I mean: I've never hit the level cap. The game is all sorts of sound all around; I would say that it is a very polished experience that's dressed up in Final Fantasy colors. If you like MMOs or if you like Final Fantasy it

Your class level is your job level. So, whatever you are in Marauder is what you'll be in Warrior, or whatever—I don't know the melee names. 50 is the max (and when you finally get the rest of your default job armor set), so keep going with it.

Just Day of Defeat. I had never played Half-Life until I was suddenly able to through Steam. It's a curious thing.

I just barely missed that whole HL2 debacle. I came just a little while later when I reinstalled DoD and found myself unable to play without first installing something called "Steam." I shouted in defiance: "what is this shit!?" and then complied—because I was and still am a weak man. I was, however, rewarded for my

It's funny, with all of the good things that are being said about this game in the comments section, from graphics to gameplay, etc., I'm thinking: guerrilla marketing? Everyone's comments are just too overwhelmingly positive. . .

That's always been my response to a lot of Internet naming conventions. "Oh, I see you either don't know how to spell or you think you're expressing your individuality by choosing the same name that, literally, hundreds if not thousands of people have chosen before you to express their own creativity and
