Brilliant! Since Russians have no sense of "over the top", the show will "one up" everything that original TG set out to do but were limited by, due to restrictions from the BBC.
Nooooooooooooooooooo!
In direct profile view it is reminiscent of an old 250 GTO, the one that started it all. Very nice.
I actually think it's shameful of Volvo to issue a statement like that when having made a car like the P1800.
That's it! After having gawked at thoses images for a good 15 seconds I know it's now time to change my opinion of the Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Villa d'Este as the most beautiful car ever and replace it with this XC60.
He borrowed my wind tunnel for the aero dynamics and the car has so much downforce it can be driven upside down in a tunnel at 30mp/h!
They must really be running out of ideas in Hollywood, but I suspect this is a Detroit financed project. While we're at it, how about resurrecting "Automan" too?
@ash78:
Porsche is dead on with this one. We all dream of an offroad vehicle with 20" rims and a manual gearbox to take us the 3 miles from our house to our office. We will naturally be alone in the car and crawl along at a confidence inspiring 15 mp/h.
ASH78 said it already.
I don't think one should slag off NYT just because it's old media. There's nothing better on a Sunday to sit down with a huge stack of newspapers and get ink all over your fingers as you're sipping coffee and nibbling on what's left of the toast.
This is a disaster. As no criminals are ever punished in Sweden we were hoping that the mighty U.S. could handle it but apparently not. Let's hope he goes to Germany where car abuse is a capital crime.
How pointless. How utterly and disappointingly pointless.
The CLS 63 AMG is too fast for it's own good and it looks like absolute crap inside, like most Mercs.
The only way that car could ever be worth $100k is if it's actually a Corvette underneath those ugly body panels.
Both Noel Gallagher of Oasis and the Prince of Cambodia had Facel Vegas.
Wow, a bunch of sartorialists on a car blog, never thought I'd see that.
Let's hope the interior stays in place in this one. When testing the last one, my seat came undone in a bend. I had to duct tape it in place. That's the sacrifice to make when buying a car with the performance of a Ferrari F430 but for 1/4 of the money.
