That's cool but I'll wait for the SR-71 3G. I've read about the A model and it's just to big, lacking in features, and you can only get it in black. Plus the 3G supposed to be faster. Sorry I had to.

@fuhteng: I didn't say that. In reality I have no idea. I've never driven a 599 or a 599 GTO so there is no way I could compare but it does seem like the GTO is a more serious ride then the base 599. They still both look really good.

I've always liked the 599. I think I like it because it's not what most people have in mind when they think of Ferrari. It's always looked classy and now it got some serious grunt to back up it's looks.

@Vintage Racer -ready to go racing...: Is this at Portland Raceway? I've been to that event twice and it's by far the best car show I've ever attended. Walking around the pits is great but then you get to watch them tear around the track. What a lovely noise vintage race cars make.

@LS1RX7owen: Surly he understands that 3d video and advertising of the bro-mantic nature is not going to sell well. I too applaud his efforts to keep such advertising from advancing too far (off the screen).

@Novaload: I guess we are just going to disagree with each other in how we feel death stories should be covered. I totally respect your points and can't find you faulty of anything since that's your point of view.

@Novaload: I can't find any meaningful car related news out of this story. Unless I was to assume the Toyota minivan was the sole cause of the crash but I think what we have here is a unfortunate accident of an old man making a mistake in the direction he intended to accelerate and a much more serious error of

I'm not trying to be rude but I'm getting kind of tired of the death posts as they seem to have increased since the new Jalopnik directive came about. Many people die everyday some in unusual circumstances involving cars, motorcycles, air planes, whatever. I feel for those that lose their lives un/naturally everyday

@brandegee: Cool thanks! 9Gs it quite a bit of acceleration I don't think I'd be that composed before anticipating almost 400mph in less then 4 seconds. Go Sammy Go!

You just made my day! Thank you whom ever figured this out.

@brandegee: I want to see a video of that. Any sources?

@smalleyxb122: Me and my 88Gt agree with you certainly not the best but I do think it's probably better then most cars from the 80s.

Oh...

@VMA1T: Your correct you can be straight and still own a moped (i am for instance) but it's easier to not have to argue the point and just admit to being hot for your own team. Hipsters seem to love to argue about things and that's why they won't just admit it like moped kids do.

@nick2ny: That's the same moped I have but I don't ride mine that aggressively in traffic you'll get yourself maimed at best. It's as fun as driving a slow car fast.

@VMA1T: Whatever... there's not a single hipster that would admit to being totally gay and I've yet to meet a moped owner who could deny how homosexual moped ownership is.

If my Veyron were painted like that I would trade it in for different colored Veyron. If that wasn't an option and they HAD to take it away in trade I'm thinking Audi R8, custom 60s Dodge van, maybe a dozen mopeds and other small bikes (plus cash).

So I don't have to be all that sad about stuffing an in game exotic into the wall in forza because in reality it's just a Buick? Awesome!
