The Spirit/Acclaim/LeBaron were on the E platform, which was a K derivative, but not actually K.

What would you say to a guy who was into cars? Talk about cars with them! You've already got a common interest, start from there.

Actual lady gearhead reporting in! I drive and work on my 1972 big block Dodge Charger. Here are some do's and don'ts when talking to a car girl:

I can take a road trip anywhere, in anything, thanks to this car:

I love the artwork from this ad campaign. You can still buy one of the billboards as a poster here.

Yes, you totally have to become one with your engine when you drive a car with a carburetor. My '72 Dodge Charger has a manual choke - so I pump the gas pedal 3 times, pull out the choke with the gas pushed in, start the car, and then push the choke half way in and give it a little gas when it catches.

All the ways to increase displacement sound sexy!

It was in a magazine I was reading at the airport. There was an awkward moment when a non-car person looked over my shoulder at what I was reading...

Getting more inches with a stroker...

+1 for Integra. My brother's first car was a 1997 Integra, and to this day he doesn't get what the big deal is about RWD vs. FWD.

1971 Dodge Charger. Bonus points because the color, "Curious Yellow," was named after a racy film. (Okay, Curious Yellow was the Plymouth name, but still.)

This ad really makes me want one. I guess I'm forever warped from spending my impressionable years in 1980s Mopars.

Hmmmm... I'd still prefer a professional model. In formal wear.

It is! Us gals have to stick together.

Yay for a fellow lady Jalop on internet TV! You should have hired a lovely made model as well. That might have helped sell sexy/angry face for me a little better.

NP. This is a totally reasonable price for this truck in this condition. A friend of mine had one of these, and they are a ton of fun. Super popular at car shows, and super fun to surprise people by peeling out at stop lights. The perfect toy for people who don't need to take themselves too seriously.

I get that you do what you have to do to make a movie, but it still makes me sad that there's a Charger out there with an LS3 and smaller-ized aero parts that's being refered to as a Superbird. Poor Charger.

I don't have any other ideas, but I totally agree with what you've posted here.

As a woman, I take this ad to mean, "Stop wasting your money on shoes and lease yourself a BMW!"
