From what I saw on their site it looked like you needed to register the system and one of the games within promo period, not one or the other. I would love to see thats not the case though.

Anyone who says they know everything is a liar. Dont trust them.

Wanted to make sure this software was mentioned. Was able to recover newer office keys that MJBKF would not.. Unless they have updated/patched/changed it. Most the Nirsoft products work great actually.

You can use a program called RWeverything to obtain your BIOS stored product keys from windows 8. Run program, Click ACPI then MSDM and the code will be at the bottom. I have done this with Win 8 PRO systems, not sure how non-pro would be. The problem you run into is the "product-key-only-upgrade" media not accepting

Out of like 4-5 boxes of command hooks I think I have one that never failed.. I gave up and went back to screw in hooks. The strips worked great for hanging pictures/paintings/posters but I could never get the hooks to stay.

Masticandy: CHEW CANDY. CHEW CANDY. CHEW CANDY. CHEW CANDY. CHEW CANDY. CHEW CANDY. CHEW CANDY. CHEW CANDY. CHEW CANDY. CHEW CANDY. There is no winning, only cavities.

Got a Bluetooth head unit for my car a year or two ago and couldn't tell between BT and CD, no headphone/fm transmitter wires laying around was the real reason I got one and once I wired up the included mic I could use it for phone calls too. I was truly impressed by Bluetooth since I had largely never used it and

The pure awesomeness that is my 3DS is attempting to get me to pickup a WiiU. Bad idea? Good idea? Maybe this means a price drop soon?

Great write up. Easy enough read for anyone and with enough info to fuel further learning if they so choose... I admittedly dont know anything about it but I think the AT&T sponsored data actually sounds kind of neat.. I dont have att nor do I even come near my monthly cell data cap (5gb unthrottled $30/mo) but I

The most worthy upgrade I have ever done is from mechanical drive to solid state. 100% the best upgrade for your money.. If your laptop only has 1 drive bay look on ebay for pata/sata optical drive bay adapters to swap your cd/dvd for a hdd/ssd bay. Most upgrades I have done a 128GB SSD + the original HDD as a

I love coming on Lifehacker and reading that I'm already doing something the best way possible. Thanks brain for doing your job.

In NYS? Are you sure thats not a Misdemeanor? I thought over $1000 (or a few other situations) was Grand Larceny and a felony that as the amount went up the felony got worse but that under $1000 (stealing anything) was Petit Larceny. (http://codes.lp.findlaw.com/nycode/PEN/THR…)

Rockauto.com also has crazy good deals on wipers (and other car parts, be careful on shipping though!). Got Trico Wholesaler beamstyle (Silblades) for around $5 before last winter.. Still working great. Looks like they have some in the $4-8 range right now.

Have friends that do this using Devil Springs or Everclear, Its pretty much the best vanilla extract ever.

Stewarts ice cream (upstate NY/VT) has a plastic film you peel from the top-inside of the carton to seal in your remaining ice cream. I dont need it since I eat ice cream like a fat kid in a heat wave but I mean, someone actually thought about and then got them to implement this and that person is basically an ice

Oh man Im going to have to watch this later! I just started playing again! Its really just fun. Sure I guess it can get repetitive if you keep starting over but if you can get some friends into it and run around trying to survive and build a city to protect/replenish yourself after trips out into the unknown. Great

Thank you for that remix. Today got sunnier.

I love the batt life of the Apple products, does it stay the same if you boot Windows? As far as mine, I... am unsure, Always in high-perf mode, full brightness, SSD+HDD its about 2 years old I think, got it used. Ive never worried about it much since I'm mostly around power but maybe it is longer and I just dont give
