As the inevitable Minecraft comparisons are already being drawn, all I can say is that if they've managed to capture a single atom of the creation magic in Minecraft, and integrate it into a truly polished MMO with a worthy storyline and grindless leveling, they could be on to a winner.

I was under the impression that you can't technically simulate 3D/real sound for a static subject, as your brain figures out all the nifty positioning stuff based on how sound changes as you move your head. @robelirobban: I would imagine that much like canals and railroads, if you require a constant stream of raw materials for manufacturing these are a good option. Whilst the speed of the individual package is slow, there is always one leaving port and always one arriving.
