I’d point out that the WEC itself started out with only Audi being the major representative in the top class because Toyota missed the opening two races.

That’s Aldo standing in Mario’s car for the press photos of the front row for the 1969 500. Mario had burned himself badly in a practice accident, so Aldo stood in for him.
The Primera came about because the regulations shifted from the outdated Group A to Class 2 Super Touring. The Skyline never would have met the Super Touring regulations as the engine was too big and turbocharged. Hence the Primera was developed.
Or do like the WEC does with LMGTE, and split GTD into a factory-backed Pro class, and an amateur-based Am class.
Man, look at all those roadies supporting this whinging.
Keep at it kid, maybe some day someone will care about your anger.
Yep, looks big mad.
Are you this mad that someone was confused by a simple sentence, especially when IndyCar wasn’t even really in the article?
You had to not know it at some point.
“The Speedway” refers to Indianapolis, not Daytona.
Not the 500.
The car you are looking at is a physical model, not a rendering.
The engines are bolted to the chassis, so the “chassis” itself survived by going through the barrier in one piece, it was simply the holting of the engine that failed. These sort of splits are common in heavy accidents and are not necessarily cause for concern as that is a weak point in the connection.
Track dogs are okay, but the absolute worst thing I see are people who bring their dogs to active garage areas. The dogs are scared as hell and the owners are clueless. Their ears aren't meant to be dealing with that stuff.
I guess you didn’t read the article, since this car is not only NOT between the GTE and GT3, but is also sold only to “special” clients who already track Ferraris. They are not selling “awesome”, they are selling a track day car.
The entire FXX series was never eligible for any series and they all came at the end of their respective model line-ups.
It's a Corolla platform this time around
Wait until the second year of production. The 2013s had numerous issues.
By extension, the Dodge Razor. And the Kia GT4 Stinger. Both would have fit the 86/Genesis market.
