"* 1990 1978 Saab 99 Turbo"

I see absolutely nothing wrong with this post. Pass, please.

We're in North Bend, WA, 31 miles east of downtown Seattle, right up in the mountains (and the place where they filmed Twin Peaks, no lie).

The tune is catchy, anyone ID it?

That happens at Saab conventions all the time - C900 keys tend to open and start 4-10 other cars, so it's always fun to stumble drunkenly around the hotel lot and see who wins the Key Lotto :-)

@DeadinSide Inc.: I'm still here! I don't write for a car blog, but I do talk about maps at blog.cartophillia.com, yet another of my many geeky hobbies...

@DeadinSide Inc.: To be fair, I don't write for an automotive blog, although I have written for several automotive magazines. My only regular blog can be found at blog.cartophilia.com, wherein I go all geeky on maps, my other big love :-)

@Franzouse: Our Man Wert knows where to find me, I stand ready to serve!

Thanks everyone for the well wishes. It was fun! And now, I crawl back under my rock for yet another seven-year slumber...

I currently own five of the cars listed in that image :-)

@Master P featuring the Chevy Volt Dancers: I am, in fact, an unabashed Saab junkie - I resurrected the dormant Saab Club of North America, and have been very active in the Saab community for years - but I'm also an overall car nut, and generally geek out on all things automotive.

@Vavon: I can write about pretty much any subject you like.

@Maxichamp: You have my solemn vow to do just that :-)

@SLRSpeedshop: Oh, trust me, I could go on for days and days...

@CraigSu: Ahh, yes, Burlington is already on the list!

@usaplanb: They DO come up for sale from time to time. There's even one at the Keeweenaw Research Center in Hancock, U.P., Michigan...
