No one else is saying it, so I will.

Annnnd, the article is now up.  I was just early to the party.

Soo... there are new leaks about the manual trans, lockers, 4wd system, suspension system, engine, swaybar, and interior for the Ford Bronco.

Holy shit mate, you’re probably one of the most ignorant Jeep model purists I’ve ever seen. The fact that you can’t afford to buy a new off road oriented vehicle and actually take it off road doesn’t mean that statement applies to anyone else.

Not only decided to do it anyway, but used it as the entire premise to create a profit driven article for a major corporation which specifically makes money based on said articles.

This game really wasn’t that good.  I’m playing it through now, actually. It’s a slog, and the story and lore are even worse slogs.

In this situation is the box you, or your passenger?

Yes, that would be exactly the joke.

My spare is a 35x12.5R17.

I love how the day after you road-trip out to pick this up, we get a “There’s shit wrong with my J10!” article. The lack of surprise in my voice should be palpable!

You’re going there in one of David Tracy’s Jeeps?

So when the game says diff locks, it means front center and rear all at once, with no options for selection?  That’s... weird.

I love this take...

Andrew re: Diff lock: the game is referring to a center diff. This typically exists on full time 4wd or AWD vehicles. In these vehicles, the center diff is usually kept uncoupled to allow the vehicle to perform on pavement without binding.

This article does the exact same thing it shits on others for doing. Trying to help, but actually just unwittingly being an asshole.

Thanks for finding this. I watched the whole thing (skipped the round table style conversation scenes, for obvious reasons), and one thing struck me:

I hope you’re right. Off road/vehicular based travel items have ballooned in price thanks to the overlanding fad.  Its like “tactical” was ten years ago.

Welp, guess I have a valid reason to skip this workout.

First mod: Train horn.

Very well written Andrew, and agreed on all counts.
