This movie is the reason I no longer drink poweraid or gatoraid. It struck me that much.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the Australian movie Thirst from 1979. That one was just kind of odd.

The one time I found it one Netflixs I watch it and was just amazed. It's a bit campy but not bad either.

I haven't seen this movie in years. Man... I think a Mel Brooks movie night sounds good to me.

Well I think it is just a teenager with a lot on her shoulders. She thinks she knows whats right (who hasn't when they were young) but she'll have that moment when she realizes how arrogant she's been. The avatar mode probably added to it.

Well he sounds like some of the Vermonters around here. Mixed accents of New York, Mass, and maybe Connecticut. Though we Vermonters don't usually like to pronounce our t's, and it's sort of an in joke (Mil-In /cough).

I agree that Rory was a great character, but for different reasons. I never thought of him "as a bad ass." Sorry since those explosions were done by the doctor, and most of the roman stuff was just because he "became programmed." <- lack of better way to say it "P

the original characters are the same age. Hell some of them were older in the reboot.

I remember in the platinum version commentary that he hated the series. Even made fun of it. So, no it won't be like the series. I'm split about that, since I had issue with some of the things that happened in original series (but got over it). So I guess this will have to be looked at, like the new Star trek movies.
