Hot take:

And yet owners of the 7.0L C6 Z06 routinely observed 26-32mpg highway, which is better than both the current 911 Turbo and the fancy new hybrid NSX.

I mean, they could always do what GM did with the Corvette and give it a ridiculously steep overdrive, that’s how the C6 Z06 with a 7L LS7 manages 24mpg on the highway despite having a massive pushrod engine.

It’s too bad that increasing the displacement isn’t an option anymore... a 7L engine could easily make 600hp naturally aspirated, and would sound better than any turbo mill.

That’s why they ask Jesus to take the wheel

They just did what good Christians are supposed to do - having been slapped on one side, they turned the van around to expose the other side for slapping. I imagine there are many mirrorless but righteous church vans out there

When I lived in DC, I smashed a mirror off of a church van (I believe Ethiopians) while driving a u-haul. At the time, I had no license, insurance or any legal right whatsoever to be driving... but was doing what I felt I had to do given my limited resources. I was panicked, but stopped, apologized profusely, and

So easy

After the sc300 and sc400 they pulled this retirement home crap?

Any sporty car from FCA except the Hellcat. The Dart is a good example. It’s obvious they know how to build a decent engine, but they fail to put one in most cars that are supposed to appeal to someone who wants to buy a small or midsize car with some power (Avenger, Dart, etc.). It turns out to be a boring econobox

While used SHOs are a steal, I can’t advise going with a new one over a Fusion Sport. Both cars look great IMO, but the Fusion has so many advantages over the Taurus and the deals you can get one (even the Sport) make the entire Taurus line moot.

Geebus! You spent what seems to be a lot of time and effort to track the level of mediocrity through the ages. Pulitzer would award you the Beige Medal for Journalism.

I had a Micra. Awesome little car. It weighed 1533 lbs with a full tank and me in the seat. Without a sway bar at either end, it was incredibly unstable and fun, but overall amazingly well balanced. I took it up to 165 km/h more than once and it was happy to do it. It was a joy to drive in the wet since its tiny

Next time you drive one, pretend it's a sports car. It's a lot more fun that way.

doesn't the RX use the same 1MZ?

Try explaining that when it dusts you one day.

Heartclick...Camries have a certain charm that only comes with owning the vehicle for a few years...these cars are virtually bulletproof, tho I prefer the 1997-2001 models since they look pretty good, unlike the 1992-1996 models which are...not bad looking, but...bland. The Camry lost a lot of goodness in 2002,

I like it. Camrys are cool. I have an ES300, and I'm pissed at the lack of aftermarket support for America's #1 car. These cars are indestructible. The official car of the apocalypse. Why the hate?

This is awesome.
