Of course there are incidents with guns sometimes, I'm not denying that. There only are far less. Every life matters, how's that? If you can save 100 lives by making guns illegal, you should do that. If you save a lot more, it is just logic and nothing else.

But how are the illegal suppliers getting their guns? If you make guns illegal, it will be much easier to regulate legal and illegal firearms, because they're all illegal.

Ever been in Switzerland or Finland? I saw nobody there with guns in the time I was there. The gun laws are way stricter in Canada, Switzerland or Finland than in the USA.
