My best friends, who are married and have two kids, live about 5 mins from my apartment . On the weekends sometimes (like tonight for instance), I'll go to their house and we'll play the Wii U. Lately it's been Mario Kart 8, but we've played a bunch of games that all four of us can play (the wife usually doesn't

My friends and I did our first cosplay as a Fire Emblem group for Metrocon 2013 (as there were supposed to be panels and such that weekend). Sadly, they were all canceled... :(

Really Michael Bay, was this so hard? The sound effects plus still being able to see parts of the vehicle that they were originally prior to transforming (Including the blockiness of it) was what I always loved about the original transformation.

I clicked the link to give Totilo hell for doing this...but then realized that it was just a share. Too bad.

Never heard of this game until now... and all I can say is what the hell is this? Tony Hawk's Pro Assassin's Skater Creed Tower Defense? What a weird looking game.

No reason not to do something -> well then I guess we should do it -> required. And when does "some fans" equal "your fans"? I'd like to have Majora's Mask 3D right now, and a game where you play Zelda as the main character, and an Impa (OMG Impa!) would be fantastic (especially with her character in either Skyward

Child of Light was tremendous, and Transistor is short, but riddled with programming jokes/allusions, and the combat was great. I'd definitely suggest trying it out.

I'll answer your last question first - why is it considered withholding? Why does it a game, according to you from what I've read at least, essentially require that you create a character if you're playing only one?

I am male, though I don't think that should matter. Growing up, my sister and I played all sorts of games together (She's 16 months younger than I am). We went from playing Mario, to Zelda, Dragon Warrior, Tiny Toon Adventures, Gauntlet, Goonies, Mega Man, TMNT, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, F-Zero, Shining Force,

Precisely. In video games, we go from magical worlds to dystopian futures, to past medieval societies or modern-day settings. There's so much to create and do and think that you're going to have such a wide range of characters in your games. One game you might see a robot, or a male plumber, or a female bounty hunter,

You pretty much summed up how I feel, especially with franchised games. Characters are already established - why change them? For change's sake?

If that's the case, why don't we design every video game to run just like an MMO? Create any character you wish (male, female, black, white, whatever) and that's what you get. This simply won't work for some games, and others it just doesn't make sense.

Why? Why does she care about it? Does it ruin the game for her just because Link is a guy? If it does, then she needs to take a look at her priorities. When I play Metroid, I don't stare at the screen and get all upset because Samus is female. I play it because it's a great franchise, with wonderful storylines and

Agreed. I think her (And Impa as well) character design is fantastic in Hyrule Warriors. I'd play the heck out of a Zelda spin-off game. It really doesn't matter to me. I just enjoy the Legend of Zelda world, and its characters, and I think we're dwelling on this stuff too much. Just enjoy the games that they make!

Aonuma: Is it that simple—that creating a female character means bringing more female users into the world?

If it's not a straight rip-off, it's so heavily "inspired" that it's ridiculous.

Yet another reason why this game is one of the greatest of all time - KEFKA.

Ask Ganandorf what my mom was doing there?

OMG That was awesome. This should be a real thing. New LttP GO!
