Well I should hope you understood my "market of 1" as a hyperbole. Analyzing your comment I'd say you're referring to an older user who's less tech savvy who watches a shit ton of TV and presumably has $600 in his money-I-could-piss-away-and-not-care fund...

That's not a justification. You can't justify mass production for a market of 1. Unless you're being sarcastic...

Or he actually does look something like Ray Charles? ... ha! ha! I get the joke! It's not racism when you're offended for no reason!

Though I'm with you, and I'm sure your response is meant more of a "we should" rather then a realistic solution, it would be morally hard to break things down with what he/she has done good v. what he/she has done wrong. Awarding a lethal penalty based off someone's decision that one weighs more than the other is

The related stories portion is an automated search of articles based off the hashtags. This is an online crime ... so yes, they are related by a common theme, nothing more. It takes up such a small portion of the site I see no reason to take beef over it. /shrug

Honestly I don't even feel it's shady. They paid for the ad space. That is all. The 20% they would have gotten was consumed by the ad space costs. This truly is not an uncommon deal in the market.

Truthfully I empathize for the company but, like it's been noted, they did have a choice. This business model is actually pretty standard for most publishing companies too. It's a long term revenue model. Truthfully you're paying for the ad space; which is a booming industry atm.

Did we just see a video ... of a video ... with an annoying watermark front and center ... of a foreign Skype-Facebook chat hack that is completely undocumented/narrated. I don't even know what just happened. >.<

Or should you say watch out Ryan Lochte? Current events ftw.

This is the new Wii biking peripheral ... the Frii ... and just like every other Wii peripheral you look absolutely ridiculous using it.

Maybe it's just me but that looks more like a landed Slave I then a Millennium Falcon. If the comparison was technical, the Slave I also has vertical acceleration.

It was when cake wasn't a lie ...

Actually if you visit the source of the video it does show evidence. A Muslim extremist group has claimed it.

Hrm, slightly confused. I've had a free Grooveshark account for a long time so maybe they grandfather'd me in but I was unaware that there was not a free version of Grooveshark. I checked their website without logging in and it does seem to show you get 1-month before subscribing and doesn't hint at a free possibility

Though it isn't technically unconstitutional I would say that, in a democracy, where policy makers love to package together particulars in a tidy "PLAN A" generalization, we need to have better oversight on this. I mean this happens time and time again, not just on security. How many times have we been exposed to

Honestly I don't understand what false dilemma I'm producing. I never said we needed this particular security. If anything I agreed that it needs tweaking. I said that if you want to bash the current system find a better solution.

You used a Non Sequiter: "I hear the rain falling outside my window; therefore, the sun is not shining." Or in your terms: "A man got caught with a bomb up his ass; therefore, we will all be lubed and anal probed."

Actually I would agree with you 100%. More or less respect the comment, not the opinion. I'll drink to that.

EVERYTHING has an error rate. Otherwise there wouldn't be a class/method in almost all fields labeled statistics & probabilities. They count error percentages and fight against keeping them down. And you also fall into a logical fallacy that simply because someone is getting paid on the other end they are "lining
