Yeah same here.  I avoided blackops 4 because there was no single player campaign.

I agree, though imo MW3 had the most badass feeling level (the submarine you force to surface).  MW1 and 2 were so good, and MW2 especially for the co-op specific content.

The only reason I buy COD games is the single player.  The only COD game I haven’t bought is BO4.  I do not care about competitive multiplayer FPS games in the least, but I do like military drama single player campaigns.

So what?  Multiplayer has always been detached from the story.  How do you consider yourself a “journalist” if this basic fact escapes you... or did you always assume the multiplayer in the COD games somehow fit into the story?  If that’s the case you’re dumber than you look.
