@DarthChimay: Is that a relative to Hypno-Toad?
@DarthChimay: Is that a relative to Hypno-Toad?
It's a reboot. We don't want to admit it, but we all know it's going to be Green Goblin.
@trunk_monkey_ChimChim: She'd be a great WW.
@Log1c: Yup. Sorry, God.
@evan7257: Agreed.
@AngriestGeek: Plus the movie totally kicked ass, so can't wait to see where they go next.
So if the new Superman is a reboot, please please please please don't re-do the origin. Literally everyone on the planet already knows it. Just pick him up fighting evil and then bring in your story, Zach.
As much as I'd rather not leave Max off with Thunderdome, this one just wasn't feeling right. Too many problems to get up and running, for something that should be a shoo-in, so you have to wonder what the issues were. And besides, when has a part 4 ever been good?
@jmcm: I always thought maybe I'd be a part of it. Now, I just hope to see it within my lifetime. As you say, such is life.
@jmcm: Ah, but we aren't talking about the recent bills passed in the senate and house, which I think provide a good compromise. Like I said, I have no problems shifting focus to Mars; I think that should be NASA's goal and the LEO flights is exactly what the commercial world can excel at, and I think we agree on…
@ObiHaiv: Well said.
@jmcm: I have no problem if Obama wanted to scrap the moon goal and instead challenged us to get to Mars (which Constellation would have been capable of), but that's not what he did. And Constellation never got to a heydey, it only got off the ground once. And if killing it without replacing it with another manned…
@jmcm: @ParryLost: Sorry, but I'm afraid I am biased here, since I work on the Ares rocket. But as for Obama:
@RomanForest: So does Obama. What happens if they can't deliver?
@Dayburner: Actually, Congress and the Senate have been on our side. While they're still canceling Constellation and Ares, they're keeping in money to keep the manned program going and moving ahead development of the heavy launch vehicle. Although Bush had a lot to do where we are right now, at least he had a…
@Dawfydd Kelly: Yeah I wasn't sure about DS9. I liked the show and loved the later seasons with the war, but couldn't remember it well enough to say when it peaked.
What else could you really call it? "The New but Actually Old Thing"? "Pre-Thing"? "The Thing before The Other Thing?" "The Thing in a Box" (oops, sorry, wrong show)?
Haven't seen this ep yet, but doesn't it seem like most shows peak in their third or fourth season? After that, it starts to get repetitive and/or unoriginal and the characters become chariactures of themselves. Trying to think of some good examples. Except for maybe its Seventh season, TNG's best was #3. The original…
I think the villain should be a unicorn. I hear they exist now.
@Illundiel: He was offered the gig:
