Toon Link is totally lame. He's so stupid he thinks he can jump off a cliff to catch a bird that is already long gone. He is such a push over that he lets comic relief pirates make him their bitch instead of the other way around like the hero of time did with much more threatening ones. To top it off, all he manages

It's not the same hero. He's not traveling across time and space killing ganondorf after ganondorf. They are completely different Links. Also, as someone mentioned, windwaker Link is not even a reincarnation like the rest.

You're gonna spout that 40% crap here? You're making generalizations. If were playing this game, why not group entertainment as a whole and say that because of it's mixed audience, all entertainment should make sure to appeal to everyone.

This makes sense because toon link is totally lame.

False, only one reincarnation of Link so far has earned that title. Just because they are all reincarnations, does not mean that they are all exactly the same.

So what you're saying is instead of putting effort into programming robust code, they should cut content out of the game? We'd all be playing pong with this logic.

But... how will they ever find enough hedgehog puns for Hoggie?

Guilty as well.

Damn it you better be wrong.

That sounds great to me. Most people won't bother and those that do take the risk of getting scammed and/or banned. While not explicitly written, the goal here is to drastically decrease the pay to win factor, not eliminate all possibilities of it.

The first time i stumbled upon Diablo 1 was on a disk full of demos as a kid. I played maybe 5-10 minutes before the game had me run out the room scared. Even when I got the battle chest quite awhile later and discovered that it included a game I vaguely remembered scaring the shit out of me as a child, that game

Man I can't even imagine how bad d3 is to make one turn to TL2.

I think one is better off sticking to Diablo 2. I'm trying to get my fix by playing torchlight 2 recently and it's been really disappointing. D2 has a lot more content and style, and is much less formulaic. The randomization leaves a LOT to be desired as well. Getting items is just way too easy making everything that

If they want, they can go ahead and hack offline mode. If they coded their shit properly and separate offline and online characters, there's not gonna be any problems.

A real statistic you don't have. Not even blizzard has the statistic of how many people have played single player. This is a simple case of you not wanting to admit how full of shit you are. You are basing this on anecdotal evidence which is worthless.

...What are you even talking about now? That only applies to multiplayer and is completely irrelevant to this conversation.

Ladder play was introduced soooo much later in patch like 1.11ish after the expansion was out for years and before that, both had access to the same amount of content. I'm not trying to downplay multiplayer, but the games single player was very important as well. I remember spending many months without even going

I played Diablo 2 for a very long time both offline and online and I am still asking you the question. This answer seems to clarify that you're basing this purely on anecdotal evidence and not any kind of real statistic.

Stat comes from...? Many people bought the game for both. Just because people are online, doesn't mean they have never played offline.

I'll buy the game when they do this and offer me a single player mode like D2. They don't need to even include LAN support if they're worried about multiplayer piracy.
