While it's true nerds were usually considered smart, that's not all it meant. Go look up the definition or wiki page.

Ah alright. It still baffles me that people are fighting for the right to be called a derogatory word. If someone would tell me I'm not really a geek, I'd take it as a compliment more than an insult. I guess it's like black rappers calling themselves "real N*ggas". I don't think I'll ever be able to wrap my head…
I agree with you that geek and nerd are derogatory terms. I think people that use it to identify themselves are stupid for doing so and really should stop. While you do say something of the sort, I don't understand why you then go on to use it in your comment.
Last paragraph lol. Amazon! Games are really cheap there, go see for yourself. Even if they weren't though, I still don't think the trade off would be worth it for me.
Yea it's good to dream, but I think there are better dreams out there. If we had this kind of technology, we could probably come up with way better things than this. Even at its best, this phone will lag behind all the competition. It would be less powerful and more complicated than android phones, it will not have…
You're right. Undeniable proof right here. That explains the distinct lack of dead people rising up from the grounds to tell us their tales of woe.
It's too slow for conditions because the current conditions is that there are too many idiots disobeying the law. It's because of said idiots in first place that there are people driving at drastically different speeds which causes the accidents in the first place. The solution is to slap those idiots harder until…
This argument is ridiculously stupid, I can't believe people are taking this seriously. Just because some people ignore the law, the law should adapt to protect people from these idiots? Really? That's called enabling bad behavior. Want to lower accidents? Start obeying the law.
Buying physical copies is a mistake? Wow... Just wow... By the same logic, there is no reason to own a book.
Because not giving him the benefit of the doubt leads to him getting head trauma? Also because a drunk is usually not up to stupidities as you have finally agreed to? I don't think it's too much to ask to try other solutions before you bash his face in.
This is riddled with false comparisons.
You should be able to sell that license. People have successfully sued companies many of times for trying to prevent that.
It's only risks being the future because people of the present all seem to have this passive attitude towards its downside for stupid reasons like "it could be worse, look at windows live" or "it's okay, they have good prices" or "it doesn't affect me so who cares". Other DRM have failed because the customers said no.…
It's very obtrusive. I have to register to them, install a third party app, download a game that should already be on disk every time I want to install it on a new computer, keep an application I don't want on my computer, etc. And this DRM doesn't do anything to thwart pirates, it just helps turn a physical copy into…
How is it not different?
While that's good to know, that's still a pain in the ass and does not rid me of having to use steam. I still need to have it as well as an account if I want to install any game that requires it, even if I bought the physical copy.
I've said it in my posts, I don't buy digital copies and have never had any problem organizing, updating my games or chatting with my friends in game.
Alcohol does occasionally make people do stupid shit, but that's not gonna happen every time you pop open a beer. Most people who get drunk don't end up doing stupid shit. You wouldn't end up hearing about them though. You seem to have some warped idea of alcohol. Most people know how to drink responsibly. Unless…
Lol I feel your pain, it happens to me all the time. Sometimes I see my posts the next morning due to a reply and they're just pathetically embarrassing. I try to remember to reread and edit when commenting at night but it doesn't always happen. We're in the same timezone too so this comment may very well end up the…
Hacker do the work for everyone though, all you gotta do is drop a file or two provided in the torrent into the game directly and you're good to go. That's pretty much the basic knowledge required to pirate anything, steam or no steam. Even serial key system were harder to deal with for the average pirate than steam.
