WAIT, DUMBLEDORE DIES?!

No political actor actually follows international standards unless it suits them. The issue here is entirely about the image. ISIS is trying to establish political legitimacy. If we set international standards and ISIS violates them, it's a black mark for them. If they just do what we're doing, then it's a black

I'm not sure if that proof works.

That was beyond awesome, all the way down to the freaking flu shot stinger. This segment just promoted empiricism, journalistic integrity, and contextualizing data in the way it handled the issue. This in addition to separating the pragmatic health issues from political antics. Perfect!

It's situations like this that really make you appreciate the insight behind World War Z.

And now God is sitting back and laughing: "Ha ha! The morons did it themselves this time!"

Excuse me. I would totally watch a Friar Tuck spinoff movie.

I believe what they were trying to say was that the existence of climate change is empirical fact, which (they imply) means it's out of the scope of philosophy or religion.

I've found a much better approach than insults: statistics! Simply apply the German Tank Problem. If it's been 2000 years since Jesus, then we should assume we've got 2000 years to go.

During one episode, upon hearing the alarm, I paused the show while fumbling for my phone, only to stare in confusion as the alarm immediately stopped.

I agree 100%. Using snark in public discourse is utterly unacceptable, and physical violence is the best (and, might I add, the only) effective method for dealing with it.

In the future, once all of humanity has transcended to digital format, wars will be entirely information based. When that event inevitably occurs, the snark of noble soldiers like Hipple will be our first line of defense.

Stanley Milgram would like a word with you.

Of course the rules of the game can't change in BR. The game is a metaphor for life. Not so in the Hunger Games.

First of all, that phrase is now in my search history, so thanks for that.

Forget the tech angle—if you name something the Sword of Damocles, I'm not putting it on my head.

Three years later...
