I really don’t think this is a major problem for 90% of the population. Most people are far from overdoing it, and get sore going gardening. The problem is doing nothing at all, or acting like walking your dog around the block is a worthwhile fitness program. Sure, “something is better than nothing”, but if “better…

Yup, and they have the right to turn it off and miss their flight because there was an accident on the freeway they didn’t know about, or show up 3 hours early for a delayed flight. Or buy an iPhone, which has all their data just the same but isn’t as open about it lol.

I still think that the flight data is the most useful. Receive an email with a flight number, and it’ll send you updates about delays, weather, and when to leave for the airport based off of real time traffic conditions. Pretty amazing stuff.

I check Google Now several times a day for weather and tracking info. I already like it- I imagine I’ll get into a lot more with third party support.

I’m all about traveling in the off season. You can do more with the same amount of money. I’m also a fan of doing research beforehand to look for special passes or reservations you might need to make before you’re in the country (like the Japan Rail Pass).

Buy booze at the local drug store/liquor store. Keep it on ice in the hotel sink. Less money to spend at the local bar if you already half-way there.
