That's very true. But the things they're working on delivering need to be done correctly to become a viable solution, lest they become the next Fisker. Isn't it wise to make sure when these products come to market they're fully operational and as free of kinks as possible?

As a business, is it not better to aim big and come up slightly short of that goal? This is still progress, just at a slower rate. The alternative is doing nothing and not being ambitious.

Okay, this could very easily be reproduced with about $200 and an afternoon spent at antique shops in Michigan ( plus maybe a weekend with beer in the garage constructing it) . It's cool, but that cost is not justified with the minimal labor involved to make it.
