I understand Jalopnik is American but seriously, there isn't anything the American car industry makes that anyone wants over here.

Are you a blatant idiot or what? What do America produce that any of the world want? Wait, is that nothing?
I'm talking american made and sold cars, not EU imports
Why don't America start producing hot hatches? Now there's an idea
Are you writing up the Beetles restoration? Don't see many posts about it
Anyone else not a fan of that font they keep using? Bleleleeeeeeeeh
Is it not to do with exclusivity? Take a straight six anyday just because non car people have no idea what it is
I was seeing touring cars. Silverstone was packed with Ferraris, GTR's, 2 SLS's in the same car park, mp4-12c, M cars, but nothing like this. These don't excite me much, maybe that's the problem. I'll have spotted one if I'd have seen it!
No exaggeration. Been to Brands Hatch TWICE this year and to silverstone and saw none of these. Saw what you americans call the ute, (had holden badges too), seen an insignia VXR, but nope, none of these VXR8's bought by customers, only a show car at the side.
Give up with the mustang rubbish. Also saying that EU want your cars is BS. Here in the UK we are happy with our fast fords thanks :) please america, a car needs to round a corner
Fat, of American origin.
Jaguar based on (sh*t) ford technologies. Good riddance
Thankyou jalopnik for covering this so much. Paul was a car guy like us, regardless of his film appearance.
Not really sure what to say. Complete madness
Haha. No compromise? Of course there isn't! All yuasa did again was complain about boost limits. If they can't win in a car that erm, won this year, opting for a longer more air friendly car with the same wheel base size was obviously what they were going to do.
People suggesting they build their own engines. What good would that seriously do? Force them to shut completely? Why when they made the rover k series workable in a sports car and Toyota engines would they need their own engine?
Also, we still have the 9000 parked up in our garden. Maybe one day it'll get some money injected into it
I used to board at a school when I was younger and used to go home on Friday. Mum drove an hour to get us, and hour back and we stopped off to see my grandparents. From the engine bay our cat fell out! Cats like humans don't want to let Saab's go! (a 9000).
Underappreciated by who? Seems every comment has a different engine here so surely that says everything... Every engine is appreciated
Anyone else hate these dubbed in sounds? :(
