I wondered if this guy was just a billionaire who had no care for history, like those guys who knocked down some ancient pyramid structures to build houses?

Well done America!

TopGear has gone from factually entertaining to just an entertainment show, which has actually become annoying to watch for me as a car fanatic. It seems that I know more about cars than they do. How is that even possible?

We were at gaydon last week and saw a guy with the single speed original mini with a prototype extended chassis and a large boot as the fuel tank was moved underneath, naturally. The car looked fine, not out of place or non mini like, it was like a second gen mini, an improvement.

Well jalopnik, some of the things you say are a bit stupid and in particular that X-type stuff is ALL stupid.

Look like show room cars to me! Production models surely didn't get those labels in the numberplate slots saying what model of car it is?

I can't get over the "merkur"brand. They're fords, the Capri is a ford, The granada is a ford, the scorpio is a FORD. Merkur, what a stupid name

Hmmm I took a pic of a series 1 left in a field, no back lights, still had the interior though. I don't know whether to care when I see dead cars parked up

Strong engines but they already sound dead the first time they start

Some guy took a 156 to 375,000 but he maintains it well. Against what everyone believes, the 2.4 fiat engine is strong and sounds awesome, pulls like a train and Alfa's are the most pleasing to drive.

VW?

What is up with this site recently? First bieber, then a poor list of the top 10 worst car manufacturers, and now this.

Thanks! I've sent an email across :)

Me likey!

Because you don't deserve them. You hate on Italian cars all the time, and then wonder why they aren't sold in America. Alfa no America thanks

Your point? These were then sold onto someone who cared about them. And anyway, the situation these delivery cars found themselves in was nothing, not even comparable, to "abandoning" a car.

Jason, I have a questionnaire for my some english work and I really need some proper car people to do it. Do you think if I sent this in an email you could get me some results? Need as many of each sex as possible.

Nope, the fuel tanks were overfilled and the plane was overweight. The rubber from the tyre hit the fuel tank, which sent a shockwave through the wing causing a blow out. This, coupled with a sparked cable I believe, caused the jet fuel to ignite.

I'm not trolling, but what are regulations for driving a car without bumpers? Was it not the Americans who introduced big bumpers (McLaren F1, Countach, to name a couple).

Don't care and neither should jalopnik. The car is OK but not in line with jalop users preferences. Don't hate on bieber either, he's fuelling development of the LeMans Audi cars in one way
