I'm sorry, but that's a load of crap. You're acting as though the article tried to make out Allaway as impartial. It didn't. The article was describing the ways in which Allaway has taken steps to mitigate any biases in her work—it never attempted to claim that there were no biases.

I mean, for real? Couldn't this Woolf/Hulsizer process also be applied in the same way to Feminism, and Jezebel?

It's actually worse than Zoe Quinn being the bridge too far. They're still largely ignoring the actually corruption between game news sites and the AAA studios and publishers, and targeting (almost exclusively) indie devs and individual reporters. (Almost everyone they target is either female or a man who they think

I'm just kind of curious why modern (mostly internet) feminists and sjws feel the need to go after "sexism" in video games (and by extension, nerds in general). It just feels like there are more important issues to go after.

Immature gamers are ruining it for everyone. Especially when you have valid evidence of someone distorting facts about games to push their feminist agenda. It all gets lost in this hate. They put you in with that group to distract from the dishonesty of certain feminist.

Still, this paint job is better:

In Soviet Russia, Coast Guards You!

Russian movie from the 80's? So did they rebody one of their helicopters to look like ours? Or did the Soviets beat us in the Photoshop race?

Ahhhh, yeah. If only it was true. I happen to own one of those "billion dollar" space pens. It's in my pocket. Hell, I have three of them. Cost you all of $20 on Amazon. They were developed by a guy named Fisher, with his own money, to replace the pencil the US used which had caused issue because when you break it,

It's not true that Russia has not produced anything new since dissolution of USSR. After the 90s, the development of new equipment was resumed, with the top priority given to nuclear forces (air, ground, and navy), then air force, then everything else.

Iraq bought Apaches because of heavy US influence. I seriously doubt that Iraq, in the condition they are, could seriously support a battalion of Apaches completely independently.

Relic...well no it's not a relic, certainly the longbow upgrades aren't. Modern toss ups would come down to the missiles against them, on land and in the air.

Uh-oh

I didn't mean to even suggest that the Russians aren't making good systems - they're making fantastic systems. However, they have a different design philosophy than we do... I saw a great interview with Mikhail Kalashnikov about why he loved the AK-47. He talked about how you could fill the thing with sand or pull

Most attack helicopters do. I think the Ka-50 is more elegant though:

Correction: It was the Afghan Air Force I was thinking of. Here's a link to the NPR story:

I see other commenters complaining that the Iraqis are using Russian hardware - I feel a need to defend them.

I hope that these helicopters can send ISIS devils straight to hell with no virgins awaiting them. May all ISIS terrorists look like Swiss Cheese.

As a Kurd from Northern Iraq, id like to express my thanks and respect to the United States, its army and its people. the help we received has been invaluable and much appreciated. I wish all the success and well being to all your troops fighting in other parts of the world and their families. may your lost ones find
