That is some of the fugliest, tackiest shit I’ve ever seen.
That is some of the fugliest, tackiest shit I’ve ever seen.
I should never have doubted you, Mark!!
I saw the headline and rolled my eyes, because not everything taller than it is wide is a dick, but then I saw the picture, and yeah.... that’s a dick.
I hate this crap so much. Girls, we are going to constantly bombard you with messages about how important it is to be beautiful! Every movie, TV, and book character that you might want to be like is going to be beautiful. Every ugly female character you might see will be a hated loser whose life you wouldn’t touch…
Maybe she’s just looking for a side project :)
This has been my favorite thread ever, because I now have over 100 delicious salad ideas to make. Thanks, y’all!!
I’m just excited they’re getting Magical Creatures over with so they can focus on Magical Water Plants of the Mediterranean #botanistdreams
That’s true, but is it really worth completely banning anonymous donations? Family history isn’t usually the be-all-and-end-all of predicting someone’s chances of major diseases, there usually have to be other risk factors present as well. There are also other diagnostics that doctors can use to figure out your risks…
But you have to submit pretty detailed medical records to be approved as a donor, which the children would have access to, and genetic testing is available for a lot of hereditary disorders. It doesn’t really sound worth it to do away with anonymity altogether over medical history.
There were signs all over my college dorm offering a free pizza for donations. Does anyone really want to find out that’s their connection with their biological father?
Imagine that, most people who anonymously donate sperm to help strangers have children want those children to think of the people who actually raise them as their parents, and not the person who made the anonymous donation.
I know!! Like, I would be delighted to pay more money for clothes if I knew it actually meant they were higher quality, but it’s a crapshoot so often that I just get cheap stuff instead.
Thanks for the tip! I’ll take a closer look at that..
I know, and they’re not cheap!! I’m expecting a $70 dress to hold up to a reasonable amount for wear for at least a year, if I wanted stuff that started falling apart in 3 weeks I’d pay $20 at H&M.
It seems to vary a lot from item to item, but unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be a reliable way to tell
I have one dress from them that has never had a problem, but two others that started to pill almost immediately, so it’s not all of their stuff! But some of it, yeah, the quality is not what it should be.
I love the way their clothes look, but I’ve been disappointed by the fabric before- like, I wear it 3 times and it’s already starting to pill. I’d be so excited to see their actual store and try to avoid that!!
OMG, I just finished off my lunch of quinoa salad with kale and sliced almonds, and now I want your salad so much it’s taking all of my willpower not to run home from work.
I lied, it turns out everyone else calls them purple carrots!
OMG that sounds amazing!!
