@Hasteur: You can transfer between numbers with Google Voice. You press '5' I believe and it rings all your phones and you can pick up another phone. It will also tell you who's calling if you want or you can have it just say your Google Voice number.

@Mark 2000: It's a 2,504 piece set. That's an awful lot of pieces if the wings are only one piece each.

@Maave: Hmmm, I'm not sure. I know you can sign up with a different email address, but you might have a problem trying to install the desktop client on the a computer that you've already installed it on. There are probably ways you could cheat the system, but I haven't looked into it.

@Webran61: The reason they keep touting the ability to fetch your Gmail messages when Gmail is down is that generally, when Gmail is down online, you can still send and receive email through imap or pop. With Google Gears you can only access your old messages and queue up new ones to be sent - Thunderbird or the like…

@SeraphX2: It's an upgrade, but that only means that you have to have a previous version of Windows installed to start the installer. Once you start it, it sounds like you can do a full install and wipe out your old Windows install.

@numike: You can. Click the 'TO:' button in GMail and it will come up with a list you can search or scroll through.

@MCWHAMMER: Then put the label of "Saved" or "Invoices" (or both!) onto a piece of email and archive it. This will take it out of your inbox and leave it in the labels you set up. If these emails are from regular people or have regular subjects then you can set up a filter that will automatically put on the label…
