It is an awesome movie. I particularly liked Sean William Scott’s choice in jersey sweater numbers.

I have college-age tenants that have asked me to use Venmo so they can pay their rent that way. Now I am seeing their feeds, and they send each other small amounts of money for all kinds of stupid crap, like “for blowjob” or “ass sex” or “third world adoption”.

This can’t be repeated enough. Worst owner in professional sports.

He was the BSG at least as early as 97/98, so closer to 20 years. But either way, good post.

They cut away too soon...here’s the rest of that video:

I believe the proper terminology is “fat man relay”. And no skinny jav throwers allowed.

That’s nobody’s business but theirs

Ugh. Fucking Mitch Williams. Don’t remind me.

If you are carrying credit card debt, it is most likely in your best interest to not buy a house until your CCs are paid off and you have some reserve cash saved up

I have the same issue as you, but these new rules actually help those of us that use your credit this way

This is a half-a$$ way of trying to fix this problem.

The key that you may not understand is that the industry makes its money off of dumb people who don’t know how to use debt. However there *are* smart people that properly use debt as leverage and understand exactly what they are getting into. This isn’t a zero-sum game.

I seem to be starring a lot of your posts today, but your analysis is spot-on. Low-interest debt should never be paid down faster than mandated if your cash can be used in other places at a higher return.

I’m not the OP so I can’t say 100% for sure of their intent, but a subtle reference to RG only watching part of the Rice video was certainly my take-away from the post. And reading through the comments, I don’t think I’m alone.

Came to post this as well. Bothered me the entire read-through.

This is by far my favorite version of Guile:
