Not the same level of seriousness, but I have a cousin with Down’s Syndrome. When he was in his early 20s, he started shoplifting, and because he obviously had some metal issues, the police would call his parents and they’d come get him. He knew he wasn’t supposed to do it, but we think he enjoyed the attention.

This is the kind of feel good story that we need these days.

Hopefully the next president we have (if we have one) will give Keanon Lowe the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Losing all of their draft picks for 18 years would be a net gain for the Jets.

The school has retained an independent counsel to investigate allegations of unwanted hugging of students.

Bad nutrition for the youth teams. Owners not investing in the team. Staying in the top division despite disgraceful results on the field. But enough about Major League Baseball.

what a terrible country that someone needs to be convicted of a crime to receive mental health counseling if they can’t afford it

“Darnold’s Spleen Explodes After Injured Jets Lineman Gives up 11 Brutal Sacks in 1st Quarter” followed by “Bleeding Labrum Lineman & Spleen-less Sam Successful at the Hague: court orders team to give each $50 million a year forever and surrender all draft picks for next 18 years”

It’s dusty in here.

“We were the joke?”

Pretty much every Jets player is guilty of conduct detrimental to the team every Sunday.

Jets management: “That’s not a shoulder injury, we gotta guy who can spot shoulder injuries a MILE AWAY!”

Even if a team is allowed to use “Conduct detrimental to the team” to get out of paying a player, they should still have to count that money against the salary cap. Some teams will do whatever they can to save that money, but I bet fewer would do it if they didn't get to turn around and spend it on another player.

It would be difficult for the Jets to look worse here, but I've said that before and been wrong so many times, so let's see how this plays out...

If only there were a group of people whose job it was to stand up for the players against owners who may not have the player’s best interests at heart. If only such groups were organized into some kind of “players’ association” or something like that. I’ve heard that writers on websites create these things called

Yep, yet another reason I am on the players side 99.9% of the time when it comes to getting their money, fuck these teams.

So this boils down to another player saying that he’s injured and the team is trying to pump him full of addictive painkillers to get him out there so that the Jets...can suck this season and go nowhere?

I tore my labrum when I was 23 (shit, almost 20 years ago), onboard a submarine. The navy ‘misdiagnosed’ it, and it
