Yea, I get that. Sounds like a good value. Still, mandatory payment over something that once was free (barebones multiplayer)... not good.

meh. I might get the PS4 (especially now that the 400 dollars price is out) to play the exclusive SP games... Will keep playing multiplayer on PC (battlefield 4, Day Z, Guild wars 2)

yea, that last part wasn't so good :\

Yea, I foolishly preordered it, based on my previous experience with DA:O. That said, most reviews seemed to be "positive", scoring around 80/100 or so (for all good that this number-score scheme is worth). It was a huge letdown, for me. If I were to score it, it wouldn't be above a 60/100. Wouldn't recommend anyone

it WAS a bad game. "let's center a game on a single city", great idea "let's make it so the city is tiny and frozen and completely uninteractive" terrible idea. "let's make the combat more active" good idea "let's make it so there's waves of enemies on every encounter rendering any kind of tactical positioning moot" ba

Please EA don't screw this up please EA don't screw this up please EA don't screw this up please EA don't screw this up PLEASE EA DONT SCREW THIS UP

needs more wholesale slaughter.

I posted this on Gizmodo, but got no answer. maybe you guys can help?

So I'm a foreigner who uses gmail, and occasinally, facebook and skype. Which means the US government has full access to all my internet communication, and soon enough, all my relevant files (which I backup using dropbox). A government which I had no part in electing, and which I consider inextricably corrupted by

"Yet video game publishers and platform holders aren't politicians. They don't respond to public perception, or complaints on forums, or angry messages on Twitter. They respond, as I've said before, to sales."

Yea, there's a fire button. And no, it's neither comfortable nor very fun, imo, but you *can* move and shoot at the same time, and play it basically the same as you would a console shooter.

Most games will have a virtual joystick on the left side to move, you can swipe to aim, and there's a virtual button to shoot. Here's how I do it:

The pirate song would be a great anime opening song... especially if sung in japanese :p

This. With Oculus Rift.

So do I! They do a lot of weird stuff, and tend to be really slow to pick up on some important usability features, but... They just get it, you know. Console gaming is supposed to be, imo, fun and light (tho not necessarily easy) and preferably enjoyed either on a lazy afternoon, or with a group of friends around a tv

1) ugly as hell

That sounds pretty disingenious from him. So instead of getting arrested and maybe paying a fine or spending a couple months in jail, he's going to commit a much larger offense and risk spending years in jail instead? Because I don't see anyone calling the police off of him because of his threats.

You know, at first this sounds pretty stupid (how the hell is it an accomplishment to sit on one's arse!?), but could actually be somewhat cool for cross-promotions of thing we actually care about.

Well, yes, a bit like Rune Factory, but a lot more hardcore and ruthless

This is way more fun than it has any right to be...
