If I didn't already have a 3DS, I'd get this. Did I expect it to be a 3DS XL? Nope. Japanese release wasn't.

Honestly, they pay the work-from-home support people pretty well. I was even trying for such a job for a while. (Most of what's around here is either part-time, really far away, or the cost in time to get there irregardless of distance takes the income down to below that of a part-time job.)
I don't know exactly how Alpine does it, but I know someone who works for another Work-from-home support company... and what they do, is they have a software suite you install on your personal computer for work tasks... which I'm now going to believe contains software to monitor the employee's actions.
I'm similar on the part about "not getting rid of games unless I actively dislike them"... but I can't say mine are in a storage box in New Hampshire. :P
I'm waaaay too lazy to type it all out, so...
Oh wow. The other thread from the original comment, as written by Nonadecimal: "The dev consoles shipped with wireless bluetooth controllers that require two AA batteries." So... apparently yes. Though I suppose anything other than Alkaline would prove too expensive for the $99 price point.
And what a fantastic vessel it is!
I suppose as far as charging, yeah, that seems likely. Or it just uses AAs. Which would be... disappointing.
If I recall, it was said to be a wireless bluetooth controller.
