You make such a valid point here. I know people who are like... super nerdy, they're the total stereotypical geek... until you get to "Open the computer case". Then they're like, "Uh... no, I'll just have someone else do that for me." I suppose I was initially afraid of doing it, too, since the first computer I opened

It's always possible I just ended up with bunk equipment... multiple times. I mean Samsung's products ALWAYS look nice, but when it comes down to functionality, of the ones I have dealt with, they have an 80% failure rate. 2 TVs, 3 phones, 1 MP3 player, and multiple hard drives. Most of the time it wasn't anything

I use an M15x for gaming (I didn't have a place to set up a desktop at the time I got it) and despite it being about 2 years old now, it's still able to stand up to pretty much anything (given, I paid about $500 more than this Samsung you're reviewing cost, and I only had 4GB at the start, I've since upgraded it to

Kotaku Effect 3?

Where can one get this "Classic Kotaku" addon? It sounds amazing.

See, I would have possibly said this looked cool, but there were two things here that killed it: "Mobile", and then "Gameloft". They have a pedigree of a special kind of horrible game, often ports of a console title for mobiles, or just something "original" that could have been good but manages to ruin it's chances by

Wait... what? People actually defend this? I realize there are apologists for everything, but this seems pretty universally hated.

I'd say she's definitely better than the newer voice cast anyway. :P And the ones she wasn't particularly good at, they were either "Pokemon of the day" ones that simply only appeared once/never made any proper sounds except in "Who's that Pokemon?" or some of them have never appeared in an episode (Like Porygon. Yes,

I have the fortunate/unfortunate ability to remember small details about things that are entirely worthless, except on Jeopardy and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire... if they had a Pokemon edition. :P And of course being an obsessed fan of Pokemon since 1999 helps.

Oh, no problem. I actually had a tendency to ignore Small Court/Big Court/Musical Hall because they scream "sidequest!". Though Small Court and Big/Large Court are actually pretty good for leveling up. :P

"and started watching the anime on TV (though I stopped once Ash became the Pokémon champion)." But Ash never became champion. He's failed at becoming champion of everything except the Orange League, and that was barely him becoming the champion, it was more like him winning at various minigames. In fact, they didn't

Black 2/White 2 were just released in Japan a little over 2 weeks ago, and the rest of the world will be seeing them in early/mid October. A 4-month turnover isn't bad at all. But if you're questioning why a game like Final Fantasy XIII with all of it's voiced dialogue and whatnot can be released worldwide

#Corrections: The Pokemon Musical is still present in Nimbasa/Raimon City as before.

I was pretty sure of that, too, but HAL themselves have few 3D games under their belt either, so I wasn't sure. :P

I think part of the problem is that Game Freak themselves actually aren't particularly good at 3D models. Obviously the Gen III and on models were made by Genius Sonority, and prior to that for Stadium, and Stadium 2, the models were made by another company (just not sure what company).

No offense, but I think you missed the point of what I was saying slightly. That's less region locking, and more regional incompatibility, and I think pretty much every game has that problem. :P

Ah, okay. However, it would seemingly make sense if Namco Bandai were to lock down the DLC too, with their tendency to keep most of the Tales games Japan-only. Of course, I'm still hesitant to believe that P4 Arena is region locked. Still buying it anyway, though. And I'm sure Ghostlight will release it in the PAL

Eh... not 100% true. I have a Japanese PSN, and a Japanese copy of Tales of Vesperia for PS3. I downloaded some of the DLC costumes with my Japanese PSN account, and I can launch the game from my US PSN account and still access my DLC. I mean, it could be different for Rock Band, but I'm not sure. I think it's only a

I think the real issue is, some of what is on this will be creative... The rest will be knockoffs, hacks of existing games, or just flat-out ROMS and emulators. Do a search for anything in iTunes or Google Play, and that's mostly what you get now anyway. If the target is "new markets" odds are people are going to be

I'd be importing it if the 3DS weren't region locked. Unfortunately it is. :( But I hope Namco or Capcom will be awesome and decide to localize it (I'd put more money on Namco doing it than Capcom, since Namco does seem to be the lead on this. Sega's got no chance in hell of doing it based on everything going on with
