So you're gunning, driving, fighting random people off of your vehicle, doing grunt work and scouting all by yourself and you are obviously the vehicle commander. What the hell do your crewmen do other than load the gun?

I like how the "gaming device" has a 5 1/4" floppy drive.
Is this where I say "All your meme are belong to us"?
It helps when your enemy is shooting at the window sill and not you.
You have to remember that most of these rumors are stating that valve's "console" will be more akin to a standardized PC hardware spec with some ease-of-use features than your more traditional console. Assuming that it will have support for analog tv is not a safe bet, as valve will be using ready-made components and…
I really wasn't criticizing you on cost and if you're not in the market for a new computer that's your business. It's mainly everything else that you said that I was talking about, your perceived difficulty of gaming on a tv with current PCs.
I think you're making mountains out of molehills, but /shrug, fair enough.
...You can do that with a normal PC right now.
I don't understand why people don't think modern PCs aren't couch game-able. I do it all the time with zero problems. Pretty much every single cross platform game on PC made this generation recognizes an xbox controller and is plug and play with zero configuration.
It was pretty annoying sometimes, even if some of the games that did it were amazing.
Why would you assume that Valve would go and change their specs every three years if they went out of their way to make something like a standardized-spec PC console? Wouldn't that fly in the face of everything they would be trying to achieve by making a console? Besides, minimum requirements have been pretty stable…
Oh god, the video for that hardened steel vehicle armor is all kinds of hilarious. IFV surviving multiple MBT hits because of his added inch of steel plating. Too funny.
I get dreams of playing games after having as low as 6 hour sessions. I would not be surprised if what you say is true.
I kind of like the speed where it's at now, and think it kind of distinguishes it from the pack. It's not slow and clompy as to be a Battletech clone, but at the same time they're not as fast as Japanese-style mechs. They still feel clompy enough to me, whilst providing much needed variety.
That's why they're referred to as boys clubs, not man clubs.
Reminds me of how the original Space Hulk game had a random hairmetal song in the beginning for no reason.
Bodies rolling on each other... grunting... You wanted them to do the steamroller?
Same boat, as much as it pains me. I'll probably pick it up once its $15 in 3 years or so.
I don't know. I found the game ridiculously easy as it was (playing on hard, of course) and a level cap increase would definitely do anything for me there.
This game really doesn't need any more side quests. It needs a substantial difficulty / moveset / bestiary upgrade.
