Pontiac Solstice coupe. Even the 2.0 turbo 260 horse stick model is rated at 28mpg highway, I worked at a Pontiac dealer at the time these were around, and I can say it will return better of you don't beat on it, but that's hard to do...

Always had a soft spot for the Allen "Home Improvement" Saleens.

I must have built this model kit 3 times. Still love the candy stripe Dodge theme.

That's exactly what I came to post. Nothing says gentleman racer like the gold and black Player cars.

Working in the Sears Auto Center down in the nether regions of Kentucky, I seemed to be pulling at least one possum out of a warm engine bay a month. They seem to be fond of snuggling up and falling asleep in engine bays near recently ran exhausts, only to be awoken when the car starts moving. They tended to stay in

I think the last gen 2.5 turbo legacies will garner some cult following as well.

Hyundai Genesis coupe. They seem like a good starting point for depreciation, hoppable drivetrains, 2 doors and RWD. What more do you need?

I actually did drive one of these for a summer. It was horrible. $35,000 in 1984 money. 4100 motor with the aluminum block and iron heads, total crap. Everything squeaked and creaked, it leaked everything, and it handled like a drunk water buffalo despite it being a 20k mile garage queen.

Is this really even fair to nominate? I give you the king of craptop driving.

Miatas are horrible, I'm 6'4" 280, the next runner up would be a box Ford Ranger/Mazda 2000 series. Single cabs the worst. Bang knees on the steering wheel, even worse if you didn't have tilt. A fixed wheel, bench seat, stickshift, regular cab Ranger is downright unsafe for bigger/taller fellas.

In 2010, Kia entered the Grand Am Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge Street Tuner class. The more commonly referred to "sporty little cars" makers laughed. A Forte Koup built from more stock parts than any other team (you can imagine the hardcore race parts aftermarket for a KIA is a bit dryer than that for a MINI

1976 Fiat X 1/9 0-60 mph 13.9 Quarter mile 20.4. That's pretty sad...

Explosions. Works for Mr. Bay!

Probes!!! I remember driving a 2nd gen V6 5speed car around and thinking it fairly enjoyable, and the styling had room to grow into something cool, and a mid engine RWD neo-pantera would be a fun build of one. I recall they were literally everywhere 10 years ago, and I thought about reviving the project recently, but

Stupifying, polarizing amounts of mayhem... XJ owners wept.

I'm going to say 1961 — The first automotive emissions control technology in the nation, Positive Crankcase Ventilation, was mandated by the California Motor Vehicle State Bureau of Air Sanitation to control hydrocarbon crankcase emissions. Positive Crankcase Ventilation withdraws blow-by gases from the crankcase and

Food of any kind. So far I have been foolish enough to get a bag of sunflower seeds and regretted it as they were way past the expiration date. You are usually OK with Jerky and Sodas as the employees/rednecks hit the inventory enough to keep it fresh, but I still hesitate and consider driving the extra 20 feet to

Since the Soylent Green loader was taken, I'll take this. You'll need the approximate ball dimensions of the F1 driver to pilot it through a crowd too.
