Either I’m misunderstanding your comment or you really need to check your math. 3.25x10^8 * 1x10^7 = 3.25 x 10^15 >>> 1.4 x 10^11. He could give everyone about $430.

Italy became the champs? I believe Brazil and a very poorly placed PK by Roberto Baggio would like a word with you.
The environmentalist in me cringes at this suggestion, but the lazy bum in me who hates ironing nods with emphatic approval.
I have a feeling many college bars do this. That or I just found someone else that spent many regrettable college nights at Penn State bars.
I think the pink ranger was the second crush I ever had. First crush was some girl named Julie from pre-K. Unlike Amy Jo Johnson who appears to still have it going on at nearly 50, I have no idea whatever became of Julie.
Woo hoo! Let’s all go out and buy fur coats!
My thought too. I once misspoke about a PR at a workout (PR is 2:48:47 and I said 2:47:48) and before I could correct myself, one of my friends who runs with me a lot said “Bullshit! You ran 2:48:47!” So not only are we neurotic about our own times, a lot of us are neurotic about those around us as well.
The Killers’ first album, Hot Fuss, may not be an all-time great album, although I’d say it’s one of the best of the first decade of the 2000's (and an incredible debut album too). Their later albums have some quality songs in there, but I feel like Hot Fuss is one great track after the other, from “Jenny Was A Friend…
She’s actually 94, so your point seems to have even more validity
You should stop eating, or really interacting altogether, with that relative.
My grandmother likes her steak rare. Like the rarer the better. I bet if she could eat a steak raw in a restaurant, she’d do it. She’ll even order hamburgers rare, but then will have it explained to her that if she eats undercooked ground beef, she’s probably gonna get sick. It’s pretty weird.
I kept looking up and down for Brett Favre on the list until I saw your misspelling of his last name. I applaud your style.
Nick Foles (6'6") would like to have a word with you about your “complete” list of Super Bowl winning QBs.
That’s cool and impressive, but even cooler and more impressive is that without motorized skateboard, someone has actually cleared an extra ~10 inches. (This guy’s PR without a skateboard is 5.65 meters)
Video says 9.36 m/s, but even simplifying it like that gives you 4.7 meters. However, his center of gravity is already is off the ground by let’s say 3 feet and then cuz of the way the athlete moves, (where the center of gravity stays about the same height, but the athlete contorts around the bar during the extension…
They’re kinda rare. The only one I ever ran on was there cuz the school had footprint limitations. It was kind of a piece of shit. One school even had a square track! That thing was ridiculous. They had these ridiculously banks on the turns that would be hilarious if not for the threat of a pile-up every 50 meters,…
Maybe a good idea in theory, but you don’t want to be constantly turning. And even with the banked track, it feels a little funny. I’ve ran on completely circular tracks and it just feels weird to be turning the entire time. Top level facilities spend tons of money on making their tracks as fast as possible, like…
Biggest difference is that indoor tracks are typically 200m vs an outdoor 400m. Tighter turns make things just a little more difficult, hence the slower times.
Tens of thousands is a ridiculous under-estimate. Philadelphia Police Commissioner Richard Ross estimated there were 50,000 to 100,000 in Center City after the Super Bowl win. I was hearing people everywhere chanting “Big Dick Nick”, so your guess is probably off by an order of magnitude.
I never knew about the Blue Comet even though I grew up a few miles down 309. Sounds like a solid spot. Then again, I moved away before I turned 21, so I was always at the Glenside Pub cuz I thought their food was pretty good and I wasn’t out to drink. Ohhhhhh nostalgia!
