In an ideal world, if a country has faults, its citizenry would collectively get together, figure out the necessary solutions, and implement them. However, in the real world, things aren’t so easy, especially in a nation of more than 100 million people like Mexico where everyone isn’t going to easily agree.

This is exactly what I was waiting to hear from someone else. That is some grade A homerism and delusion right there.

Or how about if Dany had just gone in with all three dragons and started blasting the Night King and his lieutenants that were just chilling up on that ridge?

Thank you so much for your part about criticizing fantasy at the start. I’ll point out flaws in storytelling of TV shows and movies sometimes and people are like “uh, you’re watching a fantasy show!” and I’m like “well, that doesn’t mean that [totally physically impossible thing or circumstances that make no sense]

The discussion about Brienne was hands down the highlight of this episode. Loved every second of it.

I would also like to know. From what I can tell, the only difference is this has an infuser that serves as the filter / press in a French press, kinda like if you’d take a tea infuser ball, fill it with coffee grinds, and drop it in a large container and leave it in the fridge overnight. I really think that if you

I usually tell my coworkers that I’m in the middle of training for an important race and it’s necessary that I go for a run and maybe even the gym at the end of the day. It’s become a very convenient excuse to get out of dinner and drinks during work trips. Sounds much better than “I’m tired of being around you and

My girlfriend hasn’t driven in close to a decade (combination of things like city living, etc.) even though she has a license. She once told me she wish she knew how to drive stick. There’s no way in hell I’m teaching her how to drive stick in my car. Without a doubt, it will explode or something if she’s in the

Asics makes some great shoes and you should be able to find something that would work for you. However, it’s really hard to tell someone what shoe is best for them without seeing them in person in order to analyze their gait.

Common sense is not as common as its name suggests

I’m gonna take a guess and say the explanation you’re looking for is that a significant share of the contestants on that show have not heard of a bell curve, let alone taken any sort of statistics course.

Does the free frogurt have toppings with potassium benzoate?

Needs to be included in the Milano rankings: a refrigerated or frozen Milano. I dunno what it is, but once a Milano drops below like 35ºF, my enjoyment increases tenfold.

If I’m throwing a hoagie, I’m throwing my Wawa hoagie. I’m not gonna throw something from Sarcone’s or Pastificio’s or [insert your neighborhood spot here] at him. He doesn’t deserve it! Actually, if I’m throwing anything at him, I’m throwing a meatball parm from Wawa at him. Those things are ridiculously messy and at

But the war wasn’t (effectively) over until 1781 at the surrender of Yorktown and the Treaty of Paris wasn’t signed until 1983! We only ratified the Declaration of Independence in 1776.

Sweet Jesus. That first touch by Panama’s defender (#23) was horrific. Pulisic may have had the highlight, but that pullback was definitely the lowlight.

I’m not gonna take the curvature of the Earth into account or air resistance cuz it makes the calculation a lot more complicated, but if we assume a flat surface and no air resistance, it’d go about 2700 miles if it’s launched at Mach 6 (6*343 m/s = 2058 m/s = 4604 mph) and at a 45º angle. Gonna go a lot less cuz of

Space Shuttle doesn’t need to reach escape velocity to go into orbit. Escape velocity is the velocity that something needs to escape a gravitational well without any more forces acting on it. The Space Shuttle has rockets pushing it up all the way into space. Theoretically, something could go into orbit if it was
