Black folk, stop being infinite fonts of forgiveness and grace! As Anansi from American Gods said, “Angry gets shit done.” Just look a how the world has already begun to shift in the wake of George Floyd’s murder and the monumental protests across the globe that sprang up in his wake! Sure, we still have a radioactive

Your ex’s family sounds either incredibly insular or incredibly ill-mannered. My hub’s family is similar (insular and ill-mannered). They don’t know how to politely include outsiders in conversations, or how to get to know people. They just ignore them.

I’m on ep 4 and loving this so far, some of the kid actors are better than others but it’s a really well-done adaptation and modernization. (Making Karen’s neighbor an actual witch, but of the neo-pagan 60s witchcraft boom type? Genius.)

Tl;dr probably no one cares about: My one quibble so far is while I’m loving how t

She wasn’t terrified...she was entitled.

And this is why we want gun control in this country. Because there is no way that mentally unstable people should own guns.

I’ve never met a level headed racist. Not once.

I'm a runner. If I'm running through a crosswalk and a car cuts me off in the crosswalk, I'm definitely slapping the car (I'm kind of a dick like that. Also, give runners and pedestrians a break). By these standards, I should have a gun pulled on me roughly a dozen times a year. These people aren't willing to state

A lot of my Facebook “friends” have been trying the “watch the whole video and you’ll see she was totally justified and goaded into having to pull her gun by those rude people!” argument.

When I ask them the equivalent of, “Is pulling a gun how we should settle arguments now?” I rarely get a reply.

If you become so terrified during a VERBAL argument that you need to pull your gun out and point it at someone then you’re mentally unstable and should forfeit your right to every owning a gun legally again

Dawn is from L.A., where half the city’s population is Latinx, so I actually think this update make sense. In L.A., more people are brown than blonde.

On a road trip from the great white north down to Texas, my family of 4 stopped at a Whataburger for dinner after waiting at a family-style restaurant to be served, and instead ignored, for 45 minutes. My parents are brown and my sibling and I are white-passing — we were in northern Texas and it was one of my first

Am I a Swifty now? Is that the lingo? I am old and do not particularly like her music but she seems ok now. Gabriel Union on the other hand has always been awesome. Maybe I'm Unionist. That sounds right on all levels.

Gabrielle Union is a beautiful woman inside and out. I love that she is so open to learning while supporting Zaya.

I know a lot of places that do that. It is good business practice, kind of like comping the local mob boss’s meal.

Like she deserved a pat on the back for it, too. Humblebrag. Jesus.

My wife, daughter, and I love this movie and watch it roughly 4 times a week (daughter is a year and a half).

Behrad is such a gem and, you’re right, his character could have easily been one-note. But the Legends casting director(s) really has a gift for finding actors who just ooze charisma.

Loved this episode to bits. Like you said, all the performances were wonderful—Tala Ashe, you wonderful human—but I really came to enjoy Shayan Siobhan as Behrad. He’s asked to do a lot this season with a character who easily could’ve been one-note, but isn’t. Love that goofy airhead. (I also cracked the F up when he

Constantine and Zari had more chemistry in one scene together than Nate and Zari have had in 2+ seasons. Also, as soon as Sara delivered the MacGuffin line I thought it was a shoo-in for ‘most meta’, but then they just kept them going so I can’t argue with your final choice.

I loved that one too! I think my favorite though was John’s head dropping through the table in his house and then popping up from the table in purgatory.
