On a road trip from the great white north down to Texas, my family of 4 stopped at a Whataburger for dinner after waiting at a family-style restaurant to be served, and instead ignored, for 45 minutes. My parents are brown and my sibling and I are white-passing — we were in northern Texas and it was one of my first

The fact that this author feels the trailer shows “a utopia poised to explode,” and doesn’t find anything unusual with that description of Brave New World, demonstrates that both the author and probably the people behind this TV adaptation missed the entire point of Brave New World. Spoilers for a book published in

Am I a Swifty now? Is that the lingo? I am old and do not particularly like her music but she seems ok now. Gabriel Union on the other hand has always been awesome. Maybe I'm Unionist. That sounds right on all levels.

Gabrielle Union is a beautiful woman inside and out. I love that she is so open to learning while supporting Zaya.

We’re even set to get a new Legend next season, in the form of an alien conspiracy theorist.

I know a lot of places that do that. It is good business practice, kind of like comping the local mob boss’s meal.

Like she deserved a pat on the back for it, too. Humblebrag. Jesus.

My wife, daughter, and I love this movie and watch it roughly 4 times a week (daughter is a year and a half).

Yep. Either there is something else going on that needs to be addressed or she’s unstable. She doesn’t need a gun in either situation.

Seriously. whatever THAT was...she needs to be seeing a therapist and also get a reality check.

Anyone that has a sobbing meltdown over waiting for fast food needs to have their gun removed and to have their fitness for duty evaluated.

Yes, I am repeating myself:

Yep, and what happened to her just shows she is the exception that proves the rule.

Well, at least there was once a good cop.

My take on why Riley’s emotions are a mix of male and female was that strict gender roles are mostly social constructs that don’t occur naturally to kids. By the time you become an adult most people have internalised concepts of gender, so it could be that all their emotions flip to be male or female. But Riley hasn’t

Behrad is such a gem and, you’re right, his character could have easily been one-note. But the Legends casting director(s) really has a gift for finding actors who just ooze charisma.

Loved this episode to bits. Like you said, all the performances were wonderful—Tala Ashe, you wonderful human—but I really came to enjoy Shayan Siobhan as Behrad. He’s asked to do a lot this season with a character who easily could’ve been one-note, but isn’t. Love that goofy airhead. (I also cracked the F up when he

Constantine and Zari had more chemistry in one scene together than Nate and Zari have had in 2+ seasons. Also, as soon as Sara delivered the MacGuffin line I thought it was a shoo-in for ‘most meta’, but then they just kept them going so I can’t argue with your final choice.

I loved that one too! I think my favorite though was John’s head dropping through the table in his house and then popping up from the table in purgatory.
