I'm tired of waiting for my GT Four.

I look forward to trading in the truck for a Subby one day. But, I'll still have snow tires dammit.
That's hilarious every time I hear it. ;) I live closer to A2 than Detroit, but yes. Michigan has a significantly lower cost of living (even factoring in down jackets and snow tires), and a lot of other nice amenities that you can't find living in Los Angeles.
Just moved from SoCal to Motown with a RWD SUV. Snow tires make all the difference.
Yeah, no.
I think it's a common conception that every 80's bird is slow and boring.
I get a lot of excitement from the people who know anything about them, but it ends in "passing fancy". Nobody wants to actually talk about the car. I'm starting to think people hate Firebirds.
"Is that stock?" "How hard was the install?"
I own a TTA and want to be a part of this party. :(
Peter Max, according to the article that photo is stolen from.
The "artist" with the rotting Corvette collection?
Eddie Griffin? I know it's not his car.
This list does not have enough Lotus 7.
Have you guys really run out of cars to write about?
"No, aluminum like an airplane." - Engineers
I agree, the dealer went way above and beyond. But I'm not sure that a kid making a stupid mistake, probably for 2 seconds while the parent's back was turned necessitates a call to CPS. My brother and I took a trip to the hospital once for something stupid, and my dad watched the whole thing, but there was nothing…
I agree. In no situation is it the car's fault, or the car manufacturer's fault when a kid is injured by playing under a vehicle. Someone has to be responsible and use their brain, and if the kid wasn't doing it then the parents are supposed to.
the answer is: he's a kid. he was probably playing around as kids do.
Next time you are in Detroit then. I'm sure Matt has lost my number by now though.
Raphael. I owned a C4 ('89 'vert), and I can tell you that it is automotive bliss. "Perfect" was not a word that I would have ever applied to it. It was as is decribed in Travis' quote above, unapologetic in it's appearance or performance, and yet it brought more joy than I could have experienced in a new 911.
