Yes, there are. I'm an electrical engineer though, so I'm fully capable of doing it myself. :D
Well that was an effective DOS attack on DonkSnob.com, congrats Orlove.
You beat me to it. Cal and his cats... and his used coBALTs.
I'm announcing layoffs as soon as the doors are open. Defense spending is down.
Like all MIL-SPEC vehicles; over designed, under budgeted, and only sort-of does what it was supposed to, but now it does all these other cool things that you only occasionally need.
Way over budget, up to a year later than promised, and you'll still love it.
Does this mean MIL-SPEC go karts are in the future? Please say yes! Building satellites gets boring, and I want a change of pace.
I was thinking more along the lines of Will Rodgers State Beach.
Looks like north Santa Monica Bay.
I had a co-worker like that at my brief stint working at a drug store. Swore he had a factory twin-turbo 240SX at home, and that he could get me an ST205 GT-Four (my dream car when I was younger).
The smaller hybrids do indeed have smaller engines. But the mid/large passenger cars with hybrid systems use average size 4-cylinder engines. While in motion (engine on), the mileage is negligible. Most gains are seen "in traffic" where the engine shuts off.
Interesting point, "concentrated" would be more accurate then.
The batteries themselves do not pollute. The production, and disposal methods pollute.
That hybrid cars are better for the environment. While the engine is on, the vehicles produce a negligible difference in emissions, if any. Additionally, current battery technologies produce heavy metals and other toxic pollutants during manufacturing and disposal.
Chevrolet/GMC Suburban. Haul everything, tow your car, and maybe even have room leftover.
For a proper family photo, you're missing:
Stock for stock, it's still slightly faster than the LS1's due to weight, gearing, etc.
Like the 3rd gen 350 TPI Camaro/Firebird not getting a manual transmission. They only offered the manual with the 305 TPI. It would have competed too much with the 'vette.
If you can't manage to properly cook eggs in a normal pan, you're not doing it right.
