TTA579
OMG, TTA!
TTA579

The '89 Turbo Trans Am was more powerful than the '89 Corvette; but, the TTA was rated at 250hp (really over 275) to not step on the 255hp toes of the 'vette. Maybe you knew that.

Two in particular I can think of, they seriously low-balled me on pay. One of the two called back twice with an extra 25 cents/hour each time and badgered me to take the offer.

I love my TTA and matching Corvette, but a CTS-V (sedan) to hold friends/family would be nice.

A bunch of my friends recently left Northrop Grumman (rats from a sinking ship) to work at Tesla. I'm so jealous, as I went to work for another aerospace company.

Nice. Gotta love the third gens.

I know of Turbo Trans Am and Grand National owners are prone to owning multiple copies. Little things go wrong often on these cars and it's nice to have another to test parts on. :P

The reason I nominated the Merkur for yesterday's QOTD. :P

I guess I need to take a test drive of the ATS if you say it was good. I sat in one at the LA Auto Show and I felt like it was way too small, (And I DD a Corvette).

Because witchcraft!

I just dropped off one of my cars to have the transmission serviced, so I'm enjoying this.

You aren't wrong. Pontiac had it's coke-addled parachute-pants phase.

30+ years of goats and screaming chickens rights a lot of wrongs.

I still visit Pontiac's grave and leave flowers every year.

I saw one randomly the other day, first time I had ever heard of it. Had DST plates, so it wasn't one of the 100.

It looks like the U-joint failed and dropped the driveshaft, instead of the driveshaft itself failing.

I disagree with roundabouts. People in this country have a hard time figuring out simpler intersections.

I just made the trip last weekend. Generally kept my speed within 5mph of the limit, and saw 3-4 CHP cars. More than I've seen in 10 other trips combined. Probably just a fluke.

They can pry my used car keys from my cold dead fingers.

Agreed, though I've been making this trip a lot lately (LA to Coalinga) and there is plenty of traffic, but most of it is pushing past 80.
