@zekestone: Perhaps, although he does tend to drive fast, and not always under the right circumstances. I'm surprised he hasn't crashed more than that one time.

@BrtStlnd: Was that not a bit uncalled for? Seeing as English is not my main language, grammar can be a problem at times. Speaking three different languages does not help either.

@highmile: Exactly. This is by far the best automotive safety ad I have ever seen. It pushes all the right buttons when it comes to altering peoples habits.

@BrtStlnd: Of course. Cufflinks are on of the few signs of a man who takes his appearance serious. I have quite a few sets which I wear as often as I can justify and I'm only 21.

".... and then it went bang!"

A 100 mph isn't that fast. I do that on the motorway often. The thing is to do it under the right circumstances, i.e. light traffic, good road conditions, good visibility etc.

Hey asshats? Yeah you! There is a reason why they have stunt drivers, roll cages and a shit load of cars when they do this in movies: They fuck up sometimes before they get it right.

@1AJeremy: True, I bet if you peel of the nice bodywork it'll be patched together with some shoddy wielding. They probably cut some corners on the safety-stuff as well, you know, to keep the weight down.

@1AJeremy: That is VERY custom. I like the paint-job though, you can really tell they put a lot of effort into it ;)

I would yank out the batteries in it and save a bit of weight. Less weight = more fun. Although I'm not sure how that will affect the weight distribution. Knowing Porsche they probably thought of that.

@BroncoMech: That could be a fine match. The 250-260HP it produces in the current version could be upped nicely with a turbo (Abarth could probably help them there)

@BroncoMech: True, but I would still prefer a trubo-V6 than a V8, but if it can't be any other way at least it will have the same sound as the original.

Personally I am having trouble with it being V8-powered. They should swap out two cylinders for a turbo. I can only hope that they make it a very light-weight V8.

@Turbineguy - now with reheat!!: Haha...Coming from Falwell who has such a long history of credible and objective arguments and such a humanistic point of view it has to be true. It's not like he's a nut or anything. :-|
