I haven’t, exactly for that reason - it’s “cut” a movie if you don’t actually edit your stuff. Also because while I have an academic interest in seeing his version of JL, 4 hours of everything I hated in BvS is a hard sell.

On the contrary, he would have a hard time on TV. Traditional TV shows have set duration they cannot extend. You have 42 minutes, and each commercial break must fall at predetermined time. You might be able to get an exception for your season premiere or finale if you are a big success, but that’s it.

Good lord, how long is this thing going to be? It’s aready two part, and I’m guessing that if they split it, it’s because it’s too long in one sitting, so each part must be about 2h30, so 5 hours in total, plus an extra hour?

Paint a wall and watch it dry, you’ll get the same experience as watching Ahsoka.

It's too bad they didn't do that for Blue Beetle as that movie deserves to be seen in theaters and by many people

Nah. I agree on the MAP pricing but these game shops are trading on the same wavelength as cryptobros; it might be worth millions if enough dummies buy in but at the end of the day the consumer’s luck means nothing. The retailers don’t have to buy any of these cards from them, they aren’t responsible for anything

Gal Godot’s Wonder Woman first movie had a lot people excited for the character and her future in the DCEU. That’s until the unfortunate bomb of WWII destroyed all hope fur the character and actress.

There is no way they couldn’t have just cast Grant Gustin in this. He knows how to make Barry Allen quirky but likable, and it would have been the perfect capper to his years playing the character. Miller just made Barry annoying.

So, I was able to get a bit more info - they ordered x, locked in enough money into paying that distributor for x, received y, y was taken out of that locked money, and the rest is still locked in, waiting for the rest of x to come. So the distributor doesn’t have the remaining money yet, but the store cannot use that

It seems like too small a change to make a difference. Both endings have the same problem: they trivialize the whole plot of the movie. We’re told throughout the film that Barry has to let his mom die because there’s no telling what horrible butterfly effect consequences could spring out of him changing the future. At

I dont think anyone seriously thought that THIS was going to be the movie that turned around the fortunes of the DCEU, did they?

This seems like a silly question to me. Of course the addition of one joke Clooney cameo did not affect the film reception to any significant degree.

I mean nothing short of “they re-cast Barry Allen to be someone who is not a kidnapper” would have gotten me to buy a ticket to see this in the theater.

... game stores... remember... it took Magic: The Gathering YEARS to make people think that their packs were worth that much... it’s an ounce of cardboard and ink with no meta to justify high prices! Start low! Undercut the big guy! Get people excited! Even packs at $7 a pop would be justified! And also? YOU HAVE MSRP

IT’S AN ANALOGY!

As a heads up, the lil dude giving the thumbs up is Vault Boy, named after Vault-Tec. The Pip-Boy is the lil computer thing the Fallout protags have on their arms

A CVS receipt if you will.

Rogue One didn’t have gratuitous amounts of slow motion, washed out colours, and deliberately artificial looking CGI sceneries.

Jesus Christ, this is cynical. After his fans harassed people for year’s for their mythic “Snyder Cut,” Netflix is just making one from the go? This would be like if, after GamerGate, video game companies started releasing “The ‘Ethics in Video Game’ Editions” of all their games for the “real fans.”

Oh good, the director who pretty much only makes shitty movies has decided to make obscenely long shitty movies. I’m overjoyed.
