Excuse me, are you suggesting Sabina is racing to defend the immersive Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser experience at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida in order to maintain a good relationship with Disney and thus continue to receive the perks of such a relationship?

Jenny’s video is getting millions of views and she’s stuck on two likes. That’s gotta sting.

Man, Jenny Nicholson lives rent-free in your head.

The guy who just made a movie about pop-tarts whining about the death of masculinity sure is something.

So one of his daughters has a movie coming out that he produced and his other is the central figure of a movie he has coming out.

I enjoyed the previous one, but it felt like three tales sorta loosely threaded together. So not sure hearing this was meant as a handful of episodes that will now be glued together makes me more or less concerned.

Yeah, Sabina used her Twitter to go after the creator of the video directly and presented her article there as a counterpoint but doesn’t mention it at all here.

It’s also telling Sabina is going directly after Jenny on Twitter but doesn’t reference the video directly in this clearly counter article.

It reads, at best, like Gizmodo is worried about getting cut out of future invites to Disney premiers.

Yeah seeing that...that’s all this needed to be. An on-site Star Wars themed hotel where you can meet characters, witness scheduled events, and then when you’re ready step out in to the park proper.

She may be a “HUGE” Star Wars fan, but IMHO it seems like she just wanted to find fault with everything and I say again, have everything handed to her.

Also, Jenny *tried* to get involved. She put great effort to interact with characters she was interested in and avoid those she wasn’t.

Sabrina’s “alternate perspective” was the press kit they she got from Disney after Jenny’s video went viral. See also: ScreenRant.

The reason people are posting this video is because multiple sites all magically decided TODAY to write the same article about how “it was more than a hotel.”

Oh you got the same press package as ScreenRant. Okay.

YES. I viewed this as a parent with kids and looking at this the biggest things that came to mind:

Even if they didn’t want to give access to D+ why wouldn’t you at least put up the full selection of Star Wars content?!

Or windows. I have zero idea how Disney was able to get away with building a hotel with no fire exits. Like, if they really wanted to go full immersion there’s no excuse to still provide a means to immediately exit the hotel. Instead of that stupid shame closet just have the ability to pop an emergency lock and open

It wasn’t just the roleplaying, it was that the “game” even when working correctly put the player under such a crunch that they didn’t have time to enjoy themselves or take in the surroundings.

Follow-Up: You can tell this video got to the higher-ups because they’re big mad now.
