I think the issue there is you’ve got shows exclusively casting gay folk who play in to the stereotypes. Whether the person in question is doing it for the cameras or not is irrelevant, the show is seeking out a specific type of gay person because it plays to the cameras.

What’s funny is the reward itself for clearing that isn’t really worth it beyond the coolness factor. But through the course of slaying five Lynels I got enough resources to get the final upgrade to one of the armor pieces I’m using.
