Every time I see this game or the first Bloodlines mentioned, I get kind of sad because nobody remembers Vampire The Masquerade: Redemption, and I really loved that game.
I mean, my go to for a long time was Cinnamon Toast Crunch first, then add milk... then add more CTC to the milk after I finish the first helping. Does that make me a monster?
Let’s see if I can get this...
I kept finding these audio logs about a guy named Manny Ortega (I think?) and thought they were just another interesting random audio log series. Then a week later the loading screen informed me that Manny Ortega is the guy who’s been talking to me through my earpiece the whole time. I literally had no idea they even…
Feedback: these constant, overlong loading screens make sections of the game tedious and unfun!
It still throws me that Americans have to give their card to people just to pay for things. Up here (Canada) we just bring the little gameboy (debit/credit machine) right to the table so you can push whatever buttons you want for tips and such. No signatures, no walking off with your credit card.
Also Canadian of Jamaican descent, grew up eating all my cereal in hot milk.
Having worked at a number of pubs and restaurants up here in western Canada for the better part of a decade, it’s pretty common for servers to tip out to “the house” based on their sales (say, 3-5% or some such) which is then divided amongst the kitchen (who’s wages are generally a few dollars per hour or more higher…
They should probably let people outside the US &UK use Cortana then. #whydoeseveryonehatecanada
“You can say that “gender is a societal thing” but that “societal thing” has throughout history been directly tied to biological sex. Only recently has that changed.”
The only one that comes to mind was Allen Iverson back in the day, used to change his braids a couple times a week. It’s unusual lol but not unheard of. And yeah I’m not sure what you mean by his Afro not being able to stand the manipulation, I’ve never known either my hair or any other black hair (my sister owns a…
Re: Mr. Terrific’s hair.
Baby steps, my friend. I see it the same way I see it when it comes to people like me (black): the first step is getting them to pull their head out of their ass enough to realize that black/Asian/Hispanic actors are just as talented as their white counterparts, THEN maybe we can start to teach them that there’s more…
As a guy who watched DBZ all the time as a kid, and recently wanted to catch up to Super... definitely watch kai. Regular Z was something like 194 episodes to the end of the cell saga (which wasn’t even the end of the show), whereas Kai was I think 98 episodes to the same point. And it’s a tighter, better story for…
To be fair, Hawaii Five-O hired Meaghan Rath (US Being Human), who is half East-Indian, to fill one of those spots. So they really only lost 1.5 Asians, all told
I gotta admit, This kind of made me laugh. It reminds me of a story my dad, a white guy, told me. Basically, he grew up with a version of “Eenie, Meenie, Miny, Moe” that included “catch a nigger by the toe.” He was so used to it, he never actually realized what he was saying until he began dating my mother, a black…
This makes me sad. I really like Britt Robertson, but she seems to only be able to pick bad things to star in.
This is sort of a funny comment, because Aziz/Dev are millenials (albeit at the older edge of that category). All that texting and agonizing over texting is pretty true to the millenial dating experience, as opposed to just trying to be relatable
I get the sense that your theory about Ryder and Harper being somehow directly connected to Cerberus. However I think they’re only in charge of the human contingent, not of the entire arc/nexus mission as a whole. So maybe colonization was always the goal?
