I typically think that the E3 demos are great and get me very excited for certain games. The key is keeping your expectations in check. It is very obvious when something is heavily scripted (everything is heavily scripted), and it’s obvious when certain things will be different in the actual game. Just enjoy the show

tl;dr

I’m so confused. It’s been a really long time since I played, but I always thought the Library sucked because it was long and boring, not because it was difficult. I don’t remember it being difficult at all. Also, the Flood showing up was like a vacation when playing Halo, because they were so much easier to deal with

I’m happy to see PoP on this list. So many people dismiss it as a terrible video game movie, but it’s actually not that bad, and some of the cinematography makes it look like the video game. Like when they fly over an area as the prince enters. That was a cool reference to the game.

This needs a photoshop contest.

Is Watch Dogs worth it for $15? I know it got some pretty lukewarm reviews, but it still feels like it could be a decent game for that price.

Was this ever determined to be a publicity stunt and not an accidental trip?

Fully backed in less than a day :)

This was obviously executed very, very poorly, but if done right, I’d like a strategy guide like this. Not the “go to the Internet” parts, but the general text that tells you who to talk to or what to look for, without telling you EXACTLY where to go and what to do.

This just makes me think that the enemies all have ridiculous amounts of HP and normal battles take forever as a result. It’s like the one time I watched by brother play the first one, and he was battling against regular enemies. He was giving very little input into the fight, and it dragged on about 5 times longer

Couldn’t get past “Wexler”

I could watch that GIF all day.

I agree that the level design was severely lacking. Thinking back on the game now, it’s the level design that causes me to have mixed feelings on a game that was otherwise pretty great.

How dare she. Infant obesity is a serious issue.

Totally thought Aaron Harang’s was Chipper Jones.

Reminded me of the English-voiced Moogle in FF Type-0.

I am interested in FFXIV. It’s on my Amazon wishlist. Couple of questions, though. First, are you able to make the text bigger? There is no way I’ll be able to read that on my TV. Second, how much is doable alone? I’m not a big multiplayer guy, and I don’t have much time to devote to meeting up with other people to go

The correct answer is zero.

I really enjoyed HR, so I’m looking forward to this. I hope the stealth in this one is a little less “clean” though. In the first one, since there was a trophy for not getting spotted, you knew that there was a way to get through every single situation without being spotted. It made the game become tedious for me by
